Because a well coached team doesn’t make simple stupid mistakes repeatedly.
I blame the loss on players not executing. Coordinators may have called a perfect play and 1 player drops the pass, makes a boneheaded holding call, or is out of position and gets beat. You blame that on the coaches ? Hell no. At some point, players have to be held accountable for making crucial mistakes that led to this disappointing loss. A&M dominated the LOS and Achane put the team on his back having the game of his career. LSU’s run defense has been hit or miss all year long. Last night they were abysmal and had the worst game of the season when it mattered most.

You wasting your time Josh is a huge JD fan and denbrock fan. He can't see the limitations of either

How the hell could anyone blame this game on denbrock?

Im a realistic lsu fan. I can have a logical discussion about the strengths and weaknesses of both if you want.

We were clearly outcoached by a coach who sucks rear end...

I agree however I place the blame on coaching not demanding deep throws!
I agree..... JD5 had some good poackets with a lot of time to throw it and did not... Don't want to hear the horseshite about no one open when you have one on one with go routes, because Moose Mohd says I don't need to be open for making magic one handed catches.
I would have benched JD5 and put in someone to chunk it down the field 3 straight times and say to JD5, that's how you throw the frigging ball.... and if you cannot do that when we call that play then we will sit your arse!!

House is worrisome as DC. He looked lost vs fsu, was on the verge of being run out the building vs auburn and then yesterday let Jimbo rape him.

It is on everyone involved in the poor effort. No single person or group is exempt. Just a poor effort by the team and coaches. Hopefully lessons will be learned

I watched our front 7 on defense get whipped all night. As for the offense, JD was terrible. Not sure what Denbrock could have done with him back there holding the ball and then the costly fumble.

Don't think so. Look at Arkansas. Should have been huge wake up call. You have playoff birth on the line and players can't get amped up to play? Denbrock has had issues since week 1.
It's very concerning how we go out coached and lack of desire to win.
Tiresome hearing this loss is on me without any adjustments or changes.

The players played poorly. This was not a coordinator issue.
The key players did not
Execute their assignments.

Well House will be back...I like Jayden had a good year but you can't hold the ball forever and perhaps in his mind he is already running and has no interest in throwing...Don't know but those decisions killed us today against a bad team...Honestly hard to believe Jimbo got them motivated for this game..LSU did not look prepared at all on this business trip...

I find it hard to blame denbrock until I see film. Looked like another classic case of Jayden refusing to throw the ball down the field and just buying time before he could scramble.
I’d be more willing to accept this if this hasn’t been the case for 12 games.
Denbrock’s approach is incredibly predictable and uncreative. Opponents just as soon not defend inside the hashes because LSU isn’t throwing there. The passing game basically consists of a TE in motion to, seemingly, set up an 8 yard comeback route outside the hashes.
Joe Burrow looked like a very average QB in a predictable, uncreative offense in 2018. Then someone brought a new approach in 2019 that constantly created mismatches and confusion for the defense through scheme and formations. The result? Burrow had the best year as a QB in the history of the game.
I’m NOT saying Daniels is as good as Burrow. But this offensive approach is just as pathetic as many under Miles. Hell, even last season’s approach was better. Kayson Boutte was the best WR in the country through the first 5 games. Opponents knew they had to try to stop him. Yet, LSU was still able to scheme him open several times a game.
This season…Boutte got 1-2 targets a game. That’s inexcusable. If your QB is struggling to efficiently execute the design of the offense…then find an offensive design that works for him.
For nearly 10 years it was the same shite under Miles. People waiting on that one great QB who could finally unlock Miles’s pathetic offensive approach. It never happened. In fact, they found that great QB in 2018 and even HE couldn’t unlock the greatness of the conservative, unimaginative approach (Ensminger’s offense was just an extension of the Miles offense). It took changing the approach in 2019 to finally find a formidable offense.
The ending sucked, but this was a better than expected season. Expectations are going to be MUCH higher next year and, IMO, as long as Denbrock is the OC we’re are going to be having the same discussions as we did under Miles. A good team that is not quite championship level desperately waiting for the one great QB to change everything when the reality is that guy will never come because the OC is the problem…not the QB

denbrock did all he could. he called passes and runs east west to stretch field you all cried about last week. n/S runs after that.
not his fault JD held ball and cannot throw downfield.

When the DEs consistently refuse to play contain and force the running back inside, that is on the players. There were multiple big runs where the defense had the righ play call and Gaye or Oujilari pushed inside the runner giving him the edge and a big run. These are upperclassman mind you that should know better.
On offense, drops and Daniels refusal to let the ball rip killed any chance of success on multiple drives. Daniels still plays scared when throwing and got selfish on the 3rd and 1 play where he fumbled. That’s not in the coaches. That is on Daniel’s.

ok you just proved you don't know jack shite.
yeah miles used those horizontal stretches running and passing we saw last night huh? those zone reads? RPO?
you can cry about middle of field but maybe they know JD limitations? the dude cannot fricking throw downfield to save his life. we are calling plays he just holds ball and refuses to throw it.
comparing miles concepts to denbrocks shows your football stupidity. we simply cannot execute downfield with this Qb and then it stops the rest of the gameplan.
get a Qb who can throw Downfield and the short shite will open up again.

House—terrible but made adjustments early in the second half, we just turned it over and couldn’t recover.
Denbrock—I think he called a decent game we just couldn’t throw beyond 5 yards.

On D - not enough reckless abandon! Where was the defense that showed up against Alabama??!!
If you play "not to lose", you will.

Why Denbrock continues to drop Daniels straight back is a mystery to me. His legs are what makes him a dynamic qb and he functions better out of the RPO. He does hold onto the ball to long though :(
