Air Fryers are far superior to Microwaves.

I’ll gladly sacrifice a couple minutes to have integrity of food cooked or reheated not bastardized into rubber garbage.

Agreed for most usages.

The ONLY thing I use my microwave for is popcorn.

Been using a microwave (and other ovens) since the 70s. It's not that hard.

Why not just get a popcorn machine? Seems more appropriate.

Hint: Practice using the “Power Level” function. You’re welcome.

An Air Fryer is not good for defrosting soup.

It’s amazing how my parents are befuddled by an air fryer
“What do you put in it?”
“What temperature?”
“How long?”
It’s just a small convection oven. Usually 350 for 3-5 minutes to reheat stuff gets in done. Then go from there. Cooking things? Just Google it.
Reheated pizza in an air fryer is like it was just cooked. Out of microwave it’s soggy and rubbery.
Air fryers actually leave it with crispness and texture and enjoyable to eat.
Microwave has its uses.
It’s just wild that a tiny oven intimidates people but a box that shoots radiation into your food people just don’t seem to have a problem using.

Hammers are far superior to a shovel.

Space and a microwave is far more useful than a popcorn machine. Yeah, I only use it for popcorn, but like, what if for some reason I want to use it for something else?
Popcorn machines are also far more work to clean compared to grab bag out of microwave.
In essence, I'm frickin lazy baw.

Just experimented with air frying bacon. It’s delicious and very easy

Takes way too long just to re heat some leftovers. Not worth it

i agree, but an air fryer isnt a fryer. it's a little oven. a toaster oven with a fan.

air fryer chicken wings are hard to beat.

I agree. I just put some leftover macaroni and cheese in the air fryer and it came out glistening and greasy and beautiful. Highly recommended.

warm up a soup in an air fryer

An air fryer is great.
But your microwave is great for heating up liquids.
Also can be used to melt butter or other things like chocolate. Warm up some peanut butter to pour over ice cream.

Our cave people ancestors, who died of biotoxins from food poisoning before reaching 18yo, are on heavenly reddit giggling at how sperled their descendants are.
