Moreover, why do they believe that Russia is "revolutionary state" that will help bring about the rule of Communism world wide?

70% of the "leftists" I know are basically communists, if not outright forward and blunt in their proclamation as such.
They all have Ukraine flag stickers on their Subarus and Priuses.

I think there’s a better than average chance the Soviet Union would succeed if it was formed now, minus Putin. Even Democrats were fully behind the concept of confronting Communism everywhere it appeared in the world but now I think we subsidize slavery and totalitarianism in China so why not the Soviet Union? They fought literal Nazis, after all.

I find that EXTREMELY hard to believe. After all, the DUMA just voted in legislation 397 - 0 to end all discussion, teaching, books, movies, etc., of any kind that promotes the LGBTQ movement.
