It’s amazing how much his play has improved recently and has helped push the team to another level.

Do people still want him traded?

Yes, right when his value is highest and his play is about to fall.

Shouldn’t be too hard to time that.

Yeah I want Kira to get all of his minutes and Naji’s because we drafted him pick 13 and his 4 game sample size before he got injured he was averaging 6.3 points per game.

I don’t necessarily WANT him traded, but there is something to be said with the idea that he just doesn’t fit this team as well as the other guys we have and I’d rather give our other guys minutes than him. In the end we’re looking towards playoff basketball, and if we have:

Z
BI
CJ
JV
Herb
Trey
Jose
Larry
Naji
Dyson

That’s 10 deep and I see all those people getting time over him come playoffs. It’s possible he could take Naji’s minutes but even then he would be like a 15 min a game player and I don’t think that’s worth it. Idk that’s just my thoughts

I mean do you really want to trade a 45% 3pt shooter? If he's hot this whole damn season let it ride. His confidence is back and his defense is ok enough to make him an asset worth keeping.

Certainly not.

IMO, Graham has got to go eventually due to his salary. Also, let’s keep getting Dyson minutes, I like that.

He’s learned he has one good shot, an in motion catch and shoot 3 ball and he’s taking more of them and knocking them down. Really going to be a big decision on him with Kira coming back plus Dyson Daniels coming on and that’s before you even talk about Jose. His value to us right now is high though but because of that his trade value most likely will never be higher. If you can trade him or package him with Hayes for a good return you have to take the deal. I think Willy is going to get a few trade offers this year.

I love the way he’s been playing. With that being said we aren’t going in to the tax for DG.

His intended role was to be the catch and shoot 3pt guy.

He’s hitting them like a motherfricker lately.

I’d be willing to listen to offers on him but I am far more interested in getting some assets for Jax.

Graham can at least fill a role for us. Jax is done between Zion and Trey being available at the 4.

How about trading Kira or Garrett & Jax instead..

DG is doing his job!

One thing about Graham that hasn’t been mentioned is that his shooting form allows him to be quite effective in the last second shots which could be helpful in the playoffs or at least that’s what I think :)

I mean, let's not get carried away. The reason that Graham got all those shots last night is because Trey and CJ were out.

In a sense, Graham's value to us depends less on him, and more on whether we can create those open catch-and-shoot opportunities for him.

I think we know now that playing Graham together with CJ or Herb doesn't work very well. Graham needs to play with Jose or Dyson.

The question is: are there enough guard minutes to go around for CJ, Herb, Jose, Dyson, and Graham? Especially when Herb gets into his inevitable foul trouble and we have to play Naji for defensive purposes?

Jax, Temple, Kira have no place on the floor. None.

Like you mentioned with injuries we still get the W instead of the L with DG.

You can never have enough shooting

Of all those names which ones do we know are capable of replacing what CJ does in case in emergency?

There probably won't be any changes with this squad outside of entertaining offers for Hayes. They're most likely going to go all in with this roster this season. If Graham is traded, it'll probably won't happen until the offseason at the earliest.

Because none of that helps us for salary.

We are -7.5 mil over the TAX. That’s WITHOUT Hayes contract.

So let’s trade Temple and Kira for example: we would have 3.5 mil left with 2 roster spots and that’s NOT including our lottery pick that will make 5-8 mil.

We shouldn’t go over the tax for DG. If we decide to go over the tax at that point you trade Graham, Kira, and Jax for a stud. Not go over the tax for someone who will get 10 min or less once Murphy, DD, etccc need more minutes.

Happy Thanksgiving!

For whom? I didn't want Josh Hart traded, but I'm very happy that we traded him for CJ. I do think that we need another quality big to play at center, as Jaxson and Billy aren't good enough.

If we need Graham's salary for that deal, then so be it.
