Soccer would be better without offside penalties

Make it more like basketball. Yes I know these threads get made around the World Cup every 4 years, and people should continue to bitch about it until the rules change. 0-0 isn’t fun.

I think there should be a "no offsides" once the balls enters a certain area

Soccer rules are bad, and I agree offsides is the dumbest one. It removes fun breakaway plays and some high end speed/athleticism plays

I would argue that it makes the game better by eliminating cherry-picking. It also places emphasis on the timing of your attacking runs, forcing you as a player to be more creative. As opposed to just running straight up and down the field.

The one redeeming quality of watching soccer. I even like it when a player gets hurt, they barely slow down. Medics, hustle this torn ACL off the field so we can reseume.
