Odd thread I know. But I remember watching Bradford at Oklahoma and thinking he was a good dude with potential bright nfl future.

Then I never really watched his nfl career at all. What happened to him? Did he just struggle with the nfl game? Injuries?

Pretty sure he made a shite ton of money and decided to call it a day. Guy tried to quit football when he injured his knee the first time but was convinced to comeback.

Am I remembering right that he was basically a statue in the pocket?

He showed flashes of the potential that was wasted by Fisher when he got to Philly and Minny.

Who’s left of the 2010-2014 #1 overall picks?

It would have been tough for anyone to succeed on those Rams teams, but he was captain checkdown for his NFL career. I am not sure he had a good enough arm to push the ball down the field.

Oklahoma QB who was overrated like all of their guys, but injuries killed his career. Dude also got like 60 mil as the #1 pick back before they changed the rookie cap situation.

It's been a long time now but I remember Bradford looking really good as a rookie taking over for a 1-15 Rams team. I think injuries caught up with him.

Not many.

Seems like all the qb’s these days are either really young or really old.

But somehow chase Daniel’s still has a job…

Daniel has a Super Bowl ring with the Saints. That tells you how incredible it is he’s still in the league.

I remember reading how he was built pretty solid from the waist up but he had really skinny legs. when he hurt his ACL in his left knee the second time his already limited athleticism went to shite, he was pretty much just an arm thrower that couldnt move and he was pretty much done

still got a nice 2/$20mm contract from Arizona that they had to eat when they made Rosen the Chosen QB one

crazy but bradford is only 35

Yeah, it feels weird that Newton’s 2015 season was the last time we really heard any noise from that 2010-2015 crop of number overall QBs (Bradford, Newton, Luck, and Winston).

Which might not be such a statistical abhoration. It just feels weird. Like an entire generation got snuffed out by injuries.

He knew when to call it quits.

My brother and him are actual friends IRL.

7-9 Jeff Fischer and the worst offensive system with the least talent ever.
