Cowherd on LSU being an NFL factory
“He’s going to the NFL, otherwise known as LSU, a football factory,” Cowherd said. “If you don’t understand LSU football, you don’t get the sport. Nick Saban will tell you privately that LSU team that beat him a couple years ago, he’s never had anything that talented.”
“When LSU gets the right coach, Nick Saban, Brian Kelly, they are good instantly and great by Year 2.”
“Kelly still doesn’t have as good of players as Saban and he’s 1-0 against Nick.”

Kelly set the expectations for next year sky high. People around here are going to want him fired if he doesn’t make the playoff.

Ever since the 2019 completely proved him wrong which he admitted to being wrong about multiple times he has been pro LSU.
He was all for the Kelly hire and said he would be great at LSU.

Hell, even under Les Miles, we were good instantly (SECCG appearance) and great by Year 2 (2006 team was even better than the 2007 national champs).

I heard this, this morning as well, he also raved about the play of players in the NFL from LSU, like Peterson, Jefferson, D Hunter, Joe Burrow, Chase, etc:
He was basically saying LSU sends a lot of dominant players to the NFL, and with the right coach will be unstoppable.

Wrong, We are losing some players that are good, but honestly this is an average player year for us. Just look at the Seniors we have. Most all of them couldn't even get on the field until their senior year.
We have some great players coming back. Great! not Good.
We will have a more talented group of players next year. There will be NO drop off .
