The defense is exhausted from being on the field too much. When you are constantly having to go back on the field after 3 and outs it’s demoralizing.

That being said - our 2 highly paid DE’s (Pyburn and Payton) have not lived up to the hype. Their lack of pressure is brutal.

Baker is not the problem and I hope the new coach keeps him.
You know the other schools are pushing hard to get our guys. No surprise he’s taking the visit.

All of his connections are in Texas. He would be silly to leave Texas. He is royalty to the high school coaches in the state.

I imagine Pickett is the one to watch. Unless Raymond stays.
Willie is a great Coach, but he won’t leave Houston. Tillman Fertitta darn sure won’t let it happen either.

Saw him in the first half on the sideline and didn’t even have his gloves on. Seems weird

BK in Dallas

Looked like BK made his rounds around the DFW area with stops at Duncanville and Desoto. Couple of powerhouses that I would love to continue to build a pipeline with.

20th St. has a great strip of bars. Drift was the LSU watch party spot last year before it moved to Kirby’s Ice house.

Can easily walk between 6-8 bars on this strip. Most have indoor/outdoor combos if weather is good.

Going to be fun to watch him and Hurley battle it out next year. Winner gets the job. Loser is going to probably transfer.
Seems like we are getting it together. That’s a competitive offer. BK has seemed like they have certain $ for positions. I would imagine QB is the highest paid.
You mean he was good and everyone here was wrong? Crazy how that works!

Congrats Will!
I’m fired up. Quick Uber ride for me. Don’t have to drive over and get a hotel in BR. Geaux Tigers!
I think Weigman ends up a U of H, Baylor, or TCU. I think he has the skills, but wasn’t put in a position to win. Bad injuries.

Also a small chance he chases baseball. Originally was committed to play both at A&M. Wouldn’t shock me if he gave that a run.

If AA stays, which I think he will, he will have a breakout year. Have to get his hands on the ball early.
I thought I remembered Sage participating in Senior Day activities?

Blessing in disguise

All that money is freed up to hit the portal hard. Time for Hurley, who WANTS to be a Tiger, to get ready to take over.

Wife takes me every year. Bringing your walking shoes. Go thirsty and hungry.
Agreed. The “if you can contribute your playing” mindset makes me think the same.
I think Toviano is Star next year and will make an impact. I expect a big jump from him.
