Kelly “Our offensive coaching staff didn’t take advantage of what Ark D was doing”

Kelly “I’m responsible for that, it will Never happen again”
TTT - LSU’s head coach is the kind of coach we all dreamed of LSU hiring after Saban left.

Yes it was Les Miles stubborness level. They were determined to throw when Ark dropped 8

You didn’t like when Les Miles said the secret to beating Bama was run straight at their strength of the middle of the dline! lol

I've been waiting for someone to say this. Did Denbrock take RB screen out of the playbook?

If you watched Caskey on Culotta yesterday, Daniels missed wide open WRs on those sacks. It might have been on the coaching staff but if he would have just let the ball rip, he wouldn't have taken the sacks.

How come Kelly did not have them make in game adjustments?

Oh, it was all on Daniels. However, I believe the OP's point was, we finally have a coach who isn't throwing players under the bus.

So true, Miles continuously tossed dived Fournette to getting nailed two yards deep in backfield against Alabama.

Kelly was being diplomatic about it. The QB was the biggest problem. Maybe Jayden was sick, or maybe he's not a cold weather QB, but he looked like he did against Auburn and FSU.

Well when every WR is running deep routes (15+ yds) when the defense is blitzing, that's not really on the QB. I'm just glad he didn't panic and just throw the ball up in the air or we might not have 50 threads on playoff possibilities.

Offense looked like it did vs Tennessee.
When Jayden doesn't run well, they keep trying to force.

Do you understand that that might not be true in another couple hundred years? In fact, from year to year that sort of thing changes.
We have beaten Bama twice in the last dozen times. Neither time did we "run straight at their strength".

Oh no doubt.

I'm not a big X and O's guy but even I thought the SAME thing during the game. Emery scored vs Florida and Bama on well-timed passes out the backfield.
Screens would have been very effective last Saturday.

No shite. But why were they surprised though? Odom loves to drop 7-8

LSU’s DC knows exactly what strategy he wants to employ. LSU’s OC is still in the process of learning what strategies when.

"Deep routes" don't require a lot of time for the QB. Some deep routes do, and some don't. If a guy runs a straight fly, with no moves, the QB can throw it within one second.
If there is a double move that is a problem. But just "deep routes"? No. That is not a problem when facing a blitzing defense.
