PULLMAN, Wash. – Bryan Kohberger's doctoral program at Washington State University maintains access to a "crime lab" database of police bodycam videos as well as live streams from security cameras on and off campus,
Holy shite.

the research tools, in the wrong hands, could have allowed a suspected killer to view unredacted crime scene images, potential videos of death and even livestreams of surveillance cameras with remote controls that allow the viewer to zoom in on faces.
Serial killer pron.

I will never take the daily mail seriously after they published that bs story about him acting crazy in jail.
I don’t think any news site should ever be taken 100% seriously, but the DailyMail is just good for posting often and quickly from anyone claiming a connection and with all available pictures. The pics are why I start looking at DailyMail for stories like this in first place, but for this story that is kind of drying up as well.
Have to take it for what it is a lot of times. It almost like social media posts with big stories like this as I think that’s how they get sources. It also looks like they pay by the article instead of having a staff member working story or even passing through much of an editorial process. They definitely have more instances of someone very loosely connected trying to get some insta fame by pushing a story that’s not really relevant or just spouting opinion or theory along with pushing name, username, and social media pics of source. They then throw in a basic recap and some additional pics they use a lot. This brings up some like the jail story with someone with no connection trying to get in first.
I would also see an article every so often mix up Kaylee and Maddie in the included picture labels/info, and the other day an article on Maddie’s dad included a picture of Kaylee with another girl labeled as Maddie or thought Kaylee was Maddie again. They definitely pay for some articles and pics from people who struggle at times to see differences between white girls with blond hair.

I haven't read the thread so I'm sure its been discussed.
How do they not know who called 911? How did the apparent multiple people just state someone's unconscious??????
About half way through the 2020 episode now.

I skimmed the last 20 pages or so since I wasn't familiar with the case and it reads like the damn Q thread.
Everyone forgets Occam's razor and dreams up insane theories for why. The dude was crazy. That's really all there is to it. He wanted to do it and had a compulsion to do it. You can argue the compulsion point all you want, but in the end the simplest explanation is usually the truth.

Totally agree.
I've always thought he just wanted to see if he could get away with it but made major mistakes.

Questions after finishing the 20/20 episode.
Why did the other roommate open her door 3 times. See someone in all black with a mask, be scared enough to lock her bedroom door but but call 911???? Or text her roommates to make sure all was good??? I can tell you 1000000% even in college, I would have contacted authorities and checked on my roommates.

Not to be a dick, but these questions have been discussed in this thread ad nauseam. A lot of theories that explain it every which way but there will be no definitive answers until trial

Has anybody noticed that he is like an ugly version of Ted Bundy?

In the posts, written on the site Tapatalk in 2011, Bryan Kohberger described struggling with his mental health as well as a rare neurological condition called visual snow.
Kohberger posted under an alias, but included several references that match details of his life. The New York Times reported on the posts on Friday, which it said it had verified.
"I always feel as if I am not there, completely depersonalized," he wrote in one post reviewed by Insider. "Mentally I experience fog, lack of comprehension at some times ... depression ... suicide."
"I felt no emotion and along with the depersonalization, I can say and do whatever I want with little remorse," he added. "Everyone hates me pretty much I am an a-hole."
In another post, Kohberger wrote about how his depersonalization made him feel like life wasn't real.
"As I hug my family, I look into their faces, I see nothing, it is like I am looking at a video game, but less. I feel less than mentally damaged, it is like I have severe brain damage," he wrote.

He's a sociopath who had some hangup with one of the girls, I don't think there's a lot more to his story.

Unfortunately, likely Goncalves.

Wasn’t Goncalves just visiting?
I thought I read she had recently moved out and was just visiting one last weekend. Supposedly moving to Austin.

She was moved out of the house and simply visiting that weekend which would jeopardize the Gonclaves being the main target story. Unless he somehow knew she was back in town maybe via social media as believe there were pictures from that day of all the girls together.

Has any connection been made between the two?

You're not a dick. I also wasn't reading 161 pages so was waiting for something like the 20/20 episode to catch up on the case.

Its said she frequented some places in Pullman that the perp likely frequented.
All signs point to her being the target. The others were just in the way, unfortunately. I don't know how he knew she would be there that night, unless he was tapped into some social media conversations.
Both Ethan and the targeted individual were not living there currently, I believe.

But why not take out the whole house?
Posted on 1/15/23 at 4:10 pm to HoustonChick86
My speculation is he thought he did or he thought folks may be on floor 1 but if he didn’t come into contact with them who cares.
I don’t think he saw Dylan or she would have been killed.

My guess is one was his target, did not expect both in the same bed, and ran into someone on the second floor which required action.
Hacking 4 ppl to death is physically demanding. I doubt he had the strength to do any more.
