3 terrible calls last night by the refs

If I’m Kelly I’m calling the league office this morning. Some of those calls are ridiculous:
1. The non targeting call where the players blatantly launches at Daniels after he gave him self up. The only reason he didn’t hit him fully is because Daniels dodged it. Those are the plays you want to call as targeting and should not have been picked up. Absolute garbage. If the ply was reverse on Young it would have been called.
2. The out of bounds touching non fumble recover. What kinda BS is that… the lsu player had 2 hands on the ball. The out of bounds player then knocked it from his hand.
3. The tip ball called no tip. Dude definitely got his fingers on the ball.

Did I hear the ref say it wasn’t unnecessary roughness because he missed him? If so, uh no he didn’t miss him.

We won the fricking game and you're still crying about the refs. Jesus Christ.

We can thank Saban for the fourth terrible call, going for two late in the game and not converting. Had they kicked the extra points, their field goal that tied it would have wine the game (probably since there was not much time left on the clock)

I hate to say it but it was the right call. Stupid arse infuriating rule, but it was applied correctly as it is written.

He did not miss. If that elbow goes under the mask instead of striking and sliding over it we may be looking at a severe injury.

2 and 3 were absolute horseshite, I was fine with 1

I didn’t get to see it because I was in the stadium, but I was getting bombarded with text after Young’s miracle scramble/TD where 54 got away with a blatant hold and it wasn’t called. Was this accurate?

It was still bad calls so yes Kelly should complain to the SEC about those bad calls. It could of cost LSU the game!

To be fair, the player could have realized the slide and jumped over him. You can’t punish that.

.2 was the correct call by the book.
Get over it and enjoy the win.

Please site this rule where a player without possession who is out of bounds overrides a player in bounds with possession?

Agreed. An out of bounds player should be made ineligible.

Head was down. He launched

Perkins was being egregiously held while he had an arm on young.
It wasn't even away from the play.

I'm gonna go the other way and say I'm not.
If it was truly a bang bang play, sure. It wasn't bang bang. JD started to slide, the defender saw it and the launched at him.
Just because he missed his head doesn't mean that isn't the same play that would have been flagged had there been helmet to helmet contact. The point of the rule is to eliminate players doing that to reduce the risk of head injury. It should have been flagged.

You don’t throw a flag for someone being almost offsides or almost holding.
He missed, no flag.
He missed, no flag.

For some reason I lost it after that missed call absolutely terrible the whole country saw it. Perkins sacks him without that BS missed hold. The OLman from Bama almost spun him around because he didn't release his jersey until Young was by Perkins.
