If Jalen Hurts can get drafted Jayden Daniels can too.

Almost certain. He still has a ways to go and things to prove.

Jalen Hurts throws a much better ball than Daniels and is a better runner. Half of Daniels’s passes are ducks. He is poor to mediocre at reading defenses and his best asset is his running, but he’s 6’3” and weighs 195 lbs. He would get broken in half in the NFL (not that he will ever sniff it).

All that being said, he is good enough to be a good college QB, just not an NFL one.

I’d agree more if you said “if Danny Etling can get drafted”

Jayden is a horrible passer. It absolutely blows my mind how high people are on him on this site. He only has 1 interception, because of the throws he makes. Hell, my grandmother has zero interceptions. Because she’s not throwing. Same principle.

Analysts differ, but most say 49-51%.

katdawg8, my strong…to quite strong is an answer to the “Chances Daniels comes back next season?”
He will absolutely come back because is not a pro prospect right now, not sure he will be after next year either.
If he can stay consistent the rest of this year, and if he plays enough next year, a team might take a late round flyer on him. I believe thats the best he can hope for.

85%. The only way he's not back is if he absolutely balls out against Bama and the rest of the season, enough to project to the first round.

If JD comes back, it could be the best case scenario for both him and LSU. He could improve his draft stock while bringing Walker Howard into games without the immense pressure of being the only option.

Did you quit watching after Auburn?

Over the last three games, JD is 76-105 for 908 yards.

Life is fluid. Don’t be a parrot.

Where do you think he is going??? Maybe Canada but he will never play in the NFL,

He's essentially Jalen Hurts.

He's keeps improving his accuracy and decision making and somebody is definitely taking a chance in him with Hurts enormous success this season.

I would hope Daniels has such a huge season to where he leaves with his age. Daniels leaving means lsu had a damn good year

Stop looking at the stats. He’s painfully inaccurate beyond 10 yards. And even in that range he throws behind the receiver almost every time. Can’t hit dudes in stride. We still might beat Bama, but it’d be a sure thing if he didn’t have those problems.

His accuracy has not changed. Just because he completed more 5 yard passes last game doesn’t mean he’s more accurate.

On the season, LSU is ranked 60th in yards per completion. Over the last 3 games they are ranked 26th.

I’m not sure how to obtain stats on yards with actual ball in the air, but I’ve noticed he is gradually becoming more consistent as he continues to build chemistry with the WRs.

He can still be streaky at times, but point is it has looked better 3 straight weeks now.

If he does, I think Nuss has to go to 8&4 to take over for Min.
