While I agree the 7.7 isn’t impressive, I believe his last 2 games are right at 10 ypa. That’s not too shabby.

Everyone can agree that he was struggling early on. That can be expected with a qb that is gaining chemistry with his wide receivers and learning a new system and how to play in that system. If his play in his last 2 games are an accurate showing of his trajectory….and he continues this trend….especially against SEC teams

That would leave him at 10 ypa and about 5 yards per carry…that includes sacks, so it may be closer to 6

That’s a first down machine and a Heisman dark horse….and we would be lucky to have him back.

I’m personally trying not to get too hyped about the last 2 games….but none of it looked like a fluke. He looks like a man on a mission
