We've got two and a half years under our belt since COVID hit. Has anybody seen more research on lethalness of COVID versus the flu?
One of the reasons my family never got this shot was because our chance of dying was less than getting the flu versus an untested chemical cocktail. You would think there would be some more guidance and science from the CDC.

I doubt there will be anything accurate. The raw data won't exactly be pure either

The infection fatality rate appears to close to that of the flu. Flu is generally considered 0.1-0.2%. Coronavirus appears to be within this envelope according to jay bhattacharia and John iaoniddis (spelling on both?) of Stanford.

Coronavirus was manipulated to be novel to peoples prior immunity. That’s why positive flu rates dropped 98%. It hit everyone.

If you’re going to downvote tell me what’s wrong with that statement?

No, in our house we believe science is real meaning men can have babies.

Even the pro WHO/CDC/NIH Covid19 devotees have to admit the near absence of the seasonal flu from 2020-2021 is pretty amazing…..hmmmm.

There is plenty of accurate data, and it’s right there on the CDC website. They are very open. In fact, by December of 2020, eight months after lockdowns in the US began, the CDC was reporting about 500,000 deaths from covid, and they were estimating about 85 million cases of covid in America since the pandemic began. This was all before vaccines. Dividing one by the other showed a fatality rate of 0.58%, which was way less than the rates bandied about by the media.

Fauci did not emphasize these low mortality numbers, because he was trying to scare people. But the CDC was excellent in its relentless pursuit, and display, of the numbers. The CDC also parsed the data in a way that made clear that healthy people, and especially young people, were in almost zero danger from Covid.

Idk but the flu is hitting hard around here. The people who I personally know who have it all took at least the first shot.

My point being decreased immunity ..

I was wondering if they dug any deeper on comorbidities and COVID. In the early stages the numbers showed fat folks had a much higher risk from COVID, you would think we'd get more info on folks that are more at risk.

Both my kids have flu right now (6 and 1 1/2) and one of them also has strep. They never got covid that we know of. Flu definitely making a comeback this year. I believe the case fatality rate for covid is maybe slightly higher overall than flu, but flu is much more of a threat to children where covid basically posed virtually zero risk to healthy kids.

Does the CDC disclose in their “plenty of accurate data” that more than half of all Covid hospitalizations involved patients with asymptomatic Covid or exhibiting mild symptoms?

Given this fact, what do you think it says about the accuracy of reported Covid deaths?

Like the murder/suicide in Colorado listed as 2 covid deaths, or the motorcycle accident in Florida listed as a covid death? CDC numbers are fearporn BS.

And for every crazy example like those, there are thousands of more typical examples of people that had asymptomatic or mild Covid when they died from some obvious other cause, and still as per the CDC they were counted as a Covid death.

George Floyd was a Covid death.

1.05 million deaths over roughly 2.5 years, roughly 420k per year.

You don't really need to research it much, the CDC gives mortality charts by year. Even if you assume all flu deaths roughly 36k per year are included, that's a pretty massive difference in the body count.

The big difference between covid and flu is the mortality rate amongst the elderly and immune compromised.

On the bright side, it has helped social security significantly.

The latest variants though seem to have lost their punch after Delta though.

Do the mortality charts take into account population growth, including illegals over the southern border.

Do they take into account boomers moving into prime time to die years?

Do they take into account cascading “on death’s doorstep” numbers resulting from weak flu seasons?

And the excess death counts, how many of them over the last 30 months have been attributed to the lockdowns, as opposed to Covid?

Your all over the place. 36k per year average flu deaths. That's barely 100k. 1.05 MILLION have died to COVID. Empirically it's more deadly.

Sure. Nevermind the details. What does the CDC’s excess death algorithm have to do with any of this? It’s best to be ignorant, incurious, and to believe what we’re told to believe.
