That was fricking awesome. No sugar coating, no BS.

I put it up there with the bank robbery scene in “Heat”.

Dang... I had no interest in this show, because of the "over saturation" but you just made me want to spend the weekend catching up

I got sucked in because someone here claimed ep 3 was fantastic. Holy crap that series is boring.

Outstanding episode. Technically, it's a typical mid-season big finale (Ep6 of 12), which would explain the amount of action/CGI/$$$ poured into this one.

I didn't want it to end. Can't wait for the next episode now.

That scene was retarded

It made no sense in the overall Star Wars story

It exists solely as fan service to prop up an absolutely terrible show

I guess it succeeded as all I see are the tards seal clapping for it

Yeah, I wasn't awed by the Obi wan-Vader fight, although it was easily the best scene of the Kenobi series. The set (filmed on The Volume) looked like a (glorified OG Star Trek-ish) fake set. It took me out of the fight scene.

The Jedi scene in Mando S2 finale is hands-down my favorite scene in all of SW as it not only served the rescue story in epic finale fashion, but finally righted the ship for that Jedi's legacy. Bonus: also served up the most satifying dish of unexpected-but-welcomed fan-service.

Yep. I say that with Vader being my favorite character ever. That show was awful.

If he had linked the Mustafar scene, he would have been correct.

It really was a great episode! So much fun! I pray the series keeps getting better because the bar was just raised multiple notches.

Welcome to everything that the masses like about Star Wars after the 80s...after ROTJ fans felt like they were owed something by every director, producer, actor, and movie/show.

Yeah man. I'm a diehard Star Wars guy and I've tried 3-4 different times to put the first two episodes on but every single time, about half way through both, I just lose interest and start doing other things. And I hate that I do that. I want to like the show but man, the pace is a snail's crawl

After watching the most recent episode, I'm going to say this:

whoever is making this show knows exactly what they're doing. They know precisely where they want to be, and they build up expertly to that. All the slow, crawling detail early on, it pays off. The use of tension the past 2 episodes have been great; both with Andor's activities, and on Coruscant. If Andor ended this episode, I'd say giant success... can only hope it finishes out as well as it hits this episode.

Andor so far is fantastic, the storytelling and acting is so far beyond the previous shows. I really hope the crew behind the show will get paid to make more shows in the universe after this one ends.

Same. I think I'm just going to start on episode 3. I can't get past the first two episodes.

The first couple episodes do a good job of explaining who Cassian is, and that does show up later.

Without spoiling things too much: there is a scene quite late in the most recent episode, where Andor makes a decision regarding another's plans. If you were to watch just this episode, it might seem a bit shocking and out of place in the Star Wars genre... "they don't do that" in Star Wars. Not the good guy side, at least. The first couple episodes show that what Andor does is completely in character for him.

I love the show…

Just can’t get past the AK-47 blasters

ETA or slugthrowers if that’s what they are

Tony Gilroy is the show runner. He was in charge of the Bourne franchise. This is how a Disney show should look when you have a competent team involved. All of the other shows plus rings of power have newbie show runners that don’t know what they are doing.
