Not seeing any acorns

I bow hunt some public land in SELA that normally has water oak acorns on the ground by now. But I have not been seeing any this year; don't see any on the limbs either. No caps on the ground, but have seen good hog rootings all around bases of trees. I think maybe they fell early and hogs tore em up. Also no acorns on my live oaks at the house this year; last year was bumper. What ya'll seeing?

SELA area 4 acorns are slim at my lease.
I have gotten lazy the last few years and just have hunted acorn flats that always had several hot trees on them instead of looking for “tree” well walked several hundred yards of acorn flats and barely saw any ended up jacking up a tree and sitting in it there was non in that tree.
Ida busted us up pretty good and I noticed last year a couple of weeks after the storm a lot of trees that were beat pretty good had sprouted new growth, all fresh budded out. Maybe the trauma of that is the blame!! It sure was wet enough all year.

Plenty of sawtooths in the ground in SW Mississippi, white oaks should be dropping soon

North central MS was absolutely loaded with acorns last year.
Not as many this year, thankfully. They never came out of the woods last year.

I looked at about 30-40 white oaks in SE Texas this weekend. All had zero acorns.

I checked a bunch of white oaks on Friday in sw miss. A few had some green acorns dropping. Usually they start second weekend of October but I'm always hopeful beginning of season.

It was raining acorns this past weekend in Ouachita Parish.

I found an oak yesterday that is dropping acorns. It’s not a ton, but there are a few.
I put a cell camera close by yesterday, and have had 3-4 different deer under it since.
That’s in central Ms, south east of Jackson

Found quite a bit in west Louisiana. 2020 zero and 2021 very few. The squirrels have been nonexistent the last 2 years due to this. Hopefully they will rebound after this good mast crop

I didn’t notice a lot in Allen parish. Hear a few dropping but nothing crazy. Will have a better report this weekend

Acorns are scattered in Area 1 where I hunt. It doesn't look like the nutall's made well which is unusual. They normally are the most consistent. I am hoping they are just late dropping. Overcups made decent. There are very few water oaks and pin oaks out there. However, the couple I ran into scouting were dropping.

Area 9’s oak trees are laying on their sides from Ida last year. No acorns in sight for awhile.

The water oak in my backyard has just started to drop a few acorns. Looks to be many on the tree, just late this year.

I am drowning in acorns in NELA. I have never seen more acorns in my life. White Oaks are producing and dropping all over the place.

I've been on a few places recently between Evangeline and St Landry that had acorns all over the place.
One spot I was in in St. Landry was loaded with Nuttall and overcup acorns.
