I thought the same thing watching it. Didn’t seem like any ridiculous hit when he hit the ground. And then I saw his hands freeze up.

In response to such concerns, the NFL created a Concussion Diagnosis and Management Protocol in 2011. One part of the protocol is to have Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultants (UNCs) at each game. UNCs work in conjunction with NFL team physicians to improve the diagnosis and management of concussions, but they are also independent of any team. Among other things, the UNCs are empowered to call a medical timeout if they suspect a player requires medical attention for concussion-like symptoms. Two UNCs are present at every NFL game — one on each team’s sideline.

If this is true then it’s more on the nfl than the dolphins.

Slo-mo replay doesn't do it justice.

He was ragdolled in a violent super fast twist to the ground like a car accident whiplash.

All you pearl clutchers do realize that the concussion protocol evaluators in last week's game ARE NOT EMPLOYED BY THE DOLPHINS? All these "What the Dolphins did last week was criminal" virtue signalers don't have a fricking clue what they're blabbering about.

Announcers reporting Tua has movement & is conscious. Regardless whatever the fallout is, that’s good to hear. Hopefully he’s relatively ok beyond all else

You fricking idiots and your cleared muh protocols.

There is such a thing as caution and seeing your qb shake cobwebs then fall to the ground. That's my franchise qb I don't give a frick if you clear or not. You're done for the day.

I see there's 6 fricking idiots that disagree

I’m a major debate with someone over last weeks injury causing this injury to be more severe. I say fricking bullshite, this injury would have happened regardless of last week, what does the board say?

Tua was postering after that hit. Postering is a sign brain injury/damage. It is absolutely criminal he was even out on the field. The NFL has clear protocols in place for this very reason and I hope there is a deep investigation into everyone involved.

I pray the damage is not severe and he can live a normal life. He needs to forget about football and let his brain heal so he can have a life because anymore hits to the head could be one to many.

A recent concussion makes you more susceptible to a repeat concussion and increases the likelihood that the second concussion will be more severe and have lasting symptoms.

Is there a third party evaluator during the game? Here’s the retard response I’m getting

quote:

It’s both the dolphins and a third party is the point you’re trying to make. But that’s during the week. I’m talking about during the game they got around the protocol

Obviously, but that's not as fun for the social media mob.

I don’t think NFL teams nor players really care about the protocols and they probably never have. Players’ future health has always been thrown away for wins and money. Just how it goes.

I'm not even upset. Not sure why you are this emotional. It was just an observation and an opinion. I didn't think he should go back in the game last week with what looked like a concussion. It's not any deeper than that, homie.

I don’t know if it would appear as bad but playing football with a concussion is a horrible idea and probably puts you at some pretty serious brain injury risks. Doesn’t take a doctor to figure that out
