re: I don't understand the Georgia poll results so far.

I don't love Kemp but he's clearly less dangerous than Abrams. Herschel and Warnock are equally terrible for different reasons.
Do you not understand how the Senate works? I actually could understand this sentiment if Kemp and Walker were reversed on Gov and Sen. As the Governor has to actually run the state government and make sure the trains arrive on time.
But in the Senate. You are simply voting in your proxy vote. So either you are lying, and really are just a center-left Democrat who has stayed independent, but doesn't like the far left. Or you are ignorant to how our government is supposed to work.
And news flash, 99% of politicians are slimeballs and idiots. You have no idea how carefully crafted and curated most politicians really are. They have teams around them that tell them what to say, how to think, etc. It is not the romantic, rosy picture you have in your head.
The bottom line is, I know where Walker stands on the following issues, and why if I lived in GA I would vote for him as my proxy vote over the alternative, where I know where he stands on as well.
Packing the court
Eliminating the filibuster
Banning semi-automatic guns
Forced vaccinations
Sexual mutilation surgery for children
Out of control spending for social programs
Massive unconstitutional power grab, centralizing all elections to Washington DC
Green New Deal climate scams
Neverending funding to other countries
So either you aren't sure where you stand on all these issues. Or you seriously need to take a couple online Civics and Constitution classes at Hillsdale, because you do not understand the purpose of electing representatives. They aren't representing your personality or debate skills, they are representing your vote.
The main problem I see with Independents, is they are generally agnostic about what they believe in, and don't really understand how the system works. They simply just want the perfect politician to come around and say everything they agree with. It does happen at times, but it is usually rare. But if you become active as a citizen (beyond voting), and get enough like minded people, you can use that power to move politicians to your will. Because most politicians are chameleons and will morph into whatever form they need to be, in order to survive. This is the system we live with, either get in the game and figure out how to leverage into your benefit, or pout on the sidelines and take your ball home.

Understand this then. The state of Georgia remains committed to the downfall of the republic

I'm an independent. When given 2 bad options, I'm not lending my vote to either.
How’s Biden working out for you? A lot of people were tired of trumps personality. Oh, it couldn’t be much worse.
401k’s down 30%, interest rates up 200% , gas up 50%, inflation up, etc But hey, no more mean tweets. I’m a man of principal. I’m independent. I don't care if my economic situation is much worse. Give me a candidate I feel good about. Not one that will help me. I’m so smart.

I don't like Warnock and would vote against him given a decent option
Walker may not be the most polished and articulate candidate in the field, I will agree with that. However, he has something that Warnock lacks that makes me want to vote for him more than ever, he loves this country!
There are and have been many smooth talking people who have been elected just because of their presentation and look what they have done for us! Obama is the first that comes to mind, he was good on stage. Clinton was the master of public speaking and we don't need to forget Hitler.
I will never be so short sighted to say I won't vote for someone because they don't speak as well as the another guy. It's the issues that matter, now more than ever! A no vote is a vote for Warnock. And if you do that, don't come around complaining about shite the government is doing if he wins because you helped him win!

Swamp protecting their boy Kemp and throwing Trump's guy under the bus. Same thing going on in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Interest rates should've been raised starting long before Trump left office.

The 10-15% in the middle control it, and candidates matter to them. Look at Arizona - Lake is ahead, but that weak Senate GOP candidate is behind.
I personally like Walker, but I guess that is not universal.

yet Walker is about 4 points behind Warnock.
There has been a significant effort in negative ad runs against Walker. I’m not even in Georgia and I see them daily as ads on social media.

There is no reason to vote for [Walker] beyond not voting for Warnock. If the Republicans had put up someone competent, they'd be far far ahead.
This is pretty much what I'm doing- Voting for Kemp (he's been pretty a pretty good governor), and voting against Warnock by casting a vote for Walker. Herschel is definitely not a good candidate for senate, but he's not Warnock, and that's a very good thing. I only wish that another candidate had been chosen in the Republican primary. I voted for Kelvin King back in May. I think he would have been a much better candidate. Alas, fame through athletic prowess appears to cloud the minds of many people. Name recognition, however attained, wins better than 9/10 times over a better, more qualified candidate.
Let's just hope we can replace Warnock. Georgia has enough embarrassing members in congress with Hank Johnson alone.

And if the Dems maintain enough to keep pushing their wishlist agenda come 2023….. you, and other people with the same idea, are going to be crying on here about “how can we stop this??1?1?1”

Are you questioning the most secure election ever?

Nice try, but wrong.
Democrats are dumping Soros money into these tight Senate races, but Walker is still leading Warnock in polls.
This election is about Joe Biden and how he fricked up the economy is under 1 year, and continues too.
I fully expect Republicans to take Congress. The House is 100% sure going Republican majority and the best the Democrats can hope for is a 50-50 Senate.

I remember in 2016 when Trump won Wisconsin and essentially the POTUS. The race for Senate was called at about 9:30 pm for Ron Johnson who was trailing Russ Feingold by 5% in the polls the day before. Two hours later, Wisconsin was called for Trump.
I studied the results and Johnson got voters that also voted for Hildawg. I still can't understand that or this but it happens.

Voting for no one, in essence, is a vote for Warnock because you can bet the other side will vote.

walker is a dunce.
independent voters say no to ignorant candidate for U.S. Senate.
independent voters like Warnock. he comes across as bright and pleasant.
