It's supposed to curve back towards the South Carolina coast and make a 2nd landfall here. It'll remain over land at that point and weaken rapidly. We're just expecting tropical storm force winds here.

Particulars down the line (after Florida) were covered in the NHC link in my last post in this thread. They touched on that pretty well on their live briefing.

As opposed to a JBE "welp, hurricane's here...good luck, you're gonna need it" tweet.

And the dog is owned by another TD poster from Prairieville. He was my contact that helped us find the church we setup up at last year.
This is site has so many great people. We may give each other grief over football or politics but when help is needed so many step up.

Is there a way that information could be posted at specific times each hour so that it is easier to find at a specific time. I have trouble finding stuff through all the other chatter.
I can edit my post in this thread. I think it is the 4-5 from the start.

Oh no. Englewood got hammered all day…Stephanie Abrams was reporting from there. I hope they can get out tomorrow.

Looks like 75%-100% outages for the areas from St. Pete down to Fort Meyers on that map
Posted on 9/29/22 at 11:58 am to RummelTiger
Any idea where those living in the impacted area can find gas and propane? I assume the big box stores will have propane? Once they open but my sister asked and I wouldn’t have a clue
