With just a description of the clothing and the time someone may have seen them walking at another location that has cameras. We could have possibly had photos of these guys days ago. It makes no sense why this wasn’t made public immediately. We need answers.

Even just with that brief interview we know what they were wearing, a general physical description, that they were on foot and weren't laying in ambush, which direction they came from etc. Seems like that would all be pretty damn important information that the police would want as soon as possible.

I do relatively well, financially, as do some of others on the OT. I’d be willing to fund her journalism career because she is truly one of the only true professionals in the industry.

Almost like they have ladders near those couplings made for climbing over.

They need to do better. With this specific case, with me and my friend being the only witnesses there, it was very shocking to me that when I called BRPD Friday morning, the person told me she couldn’t help me and she would transfer me,” said the witness. “When I got a hold of someone, they told me he was an assistant and that someone would call me back. Hours went by and no one called me so I called Crime Stoppers. They took down the information and I never heard from anyone again.”

This should be a fireable offense by everyone involved.

I wonder who called 911. There must've been someone else in the area. Isn't this basically the edge of Red Stick Social's parking lot? That parking lot would've have a lot of people in it at 2 AM.

Yes that’s what it seems like

And if it was at a complete stop the whole time/if the train never gave any indication that it was GOING to move, then neither Allie nor the witness would have likely waited at the crossing at 2am at all….

It also makes sense that they would bypass a car with two adult males in it and focus on the car with a single female in it.

It also makes sense that there was no urgency when hoodie people saw her and the train both stopped. They were able to talk things over a bit, and come up with a plan of action. When the train started moving, they approached her and she refused to roll down window. They then shot her.
This could have easily taken up the time between when they were spotted and the sound of gunshots.

I was rhetorically addressing Havoc’s comment about the suspects chances of being able to jump the tracks with a moving train.

I was pointing out that a moving train would not be an obstacle if it were moving slow enough. So the fact that the train is moving in the audio (or at least how the audio has been interpreted) doesn’t preclude the possibility of the suspects jumping the tracks.

I think all people wearing hoodies in summer should be stopped and frisked.

Can you not potentially jump over the couplings of a very slow moving train?

Probably would be an 11/10 on the difficult and “this is suicide!” scales, but would it not be possible?

You were pointing out that it wouldn’t be an obstacle?

No, you were asking if it could be done and then suggesting that it could be near suicide to try it and wondering if it was even possible

We already know they jumped the tracks before the shooting. It was witnessed.
Could they have crossed back after? I'm sure eventually they could have.

And would not be considered a credible witness in a criminal case, right?

if you're implying that a 911 call was made immediately after the incident, i believe its been stated that police were summoned by a report from a shot tracer. Not a live person. No one called this in that night. Cops found her deceased in the car.

It is fricking infuriating and outrageous that the BRPD didn't get back in touch with the witness immediately. Why the frick is BRPD so gotdamn incompetent?

Because it’s intentional. They want them to hunt us.

there needs to be an honest national conversation about the violence black males have committed in this country.

You people are fricking insufferable.

He did not see their faces. He will not be picking them out of a line-up or ID'ing them in court. His credibility will not be in question.

His value is to simply establish a somewhat accurate timeline and to describe the events as they happened, so the police can go about solving the crime with a good idea of what transpired. This prevents them wasting time on other stupid theories like serial killers, jilted lovers, road rage, stalkers, etc.

I don't believe they can do that. But, if they have a phone number they can track that, which isn't very helpful in a situation like this (where they don't appear to have a suspect.)

They can do that.

Detective: Cellphone records led to woman's alleged killer

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Authorities used cellphone records to track down an airman who they believe shot and killed a Farmington Sunday school teacher and left her body off a forest road in northern Arizona, a sheriff's detective said.

Mark Gooch left his dorm room at Luke Air Force base where he's stationed and traveled more than 400 miles (643 kilometers) to northwestern New Mexico, where Sasha Krause lived and worked in a Mennonite community. Coconino County Sheriff's Detective Lauren Jones said Thursday that Gooch returned to the base near Phoenix less than a day later.
