CHS coaches are morons. They pulled a Scott Frost and onside kicked up 24-7 to gift U-High free points

Bingo. I can attest from personal experience. They win on talent - not smarts

St Aug always seems to pull a gigantic upset every other year or so, but always seem to frick it up in the playoffs when it comes to X’s and O’s.

Final

LCA turned the ball over twice in the first quarter, 17-7 Jesuit at half if I recall correctly, LCA defense tightened up, offense scored 21 unanswered, 28-17 in the 4th LCA. No quit in Jesuit, they fought back and scored a TD, went for 2 and made it. They forced LCA to punt with less than a minute left. LCA defense was able to hold them off. The last play of the game ended with an LCA interception as the clock expired. Lutcher's only turnover if I recall correctly.

I'm the parent of a couple of former LCA students. I've got to say, Jesuit is very good.

It’s the curse of always having what we call “dudes”… they don’t seem to think X’s and O’s matter as much

Not tonight my friend. Cl snapped the second longest losing streak in the state.

I have to give some credit, I been shitting on cl ad and current head coach. I still dont think he’s the solution but he has the kids that are still out there playing hard and he’s calling both the offense and defense himself because of lack of coaches. So kudos Shelly.

30-16 STM final over BM

BM is in big trouble with Lonardo (QB) and Lambert (RB) out. They might be able to manage with 1 of them out, relying on the defense, but they'll be lucky to win a game or 2 in district without both of them.

Lol. I don’t care if you believe me or not. Last weeks tickets still said John Curtis and there wasn’t a ticket available in the season ticket package for a home game this week. They got the Tenn matchup through a broker bc Catholic and John Curtis canceled Last minute bc of the way WM voted in select/non select crap and they couldn’t find anyone else.

They even had a team from Canada set to come down but they had to scrap that due to some differences in playing rules.

Can someone please fill me in as to why St. Amant schedules these Inner City NOLA teams for the first half of their schedule every year?

I fail to see the benefit,
They bring zero fans-lost money at gate and concessions
Not very good teams that will provide not much in power points.

I just don’t understand playing them when their are better quality non district opponents nearby.

This guy can’t be helped. You have no clue what you’re talking about.
JC backed out in the spring, Catholic backed out in the summer. I have no issue with their reasons, I’m as Anti-split as it gets. I’m a WM fan and I’m embarrassed for the school, it’s shameful where they stand on the split.
BUT, both of those schools backed out on WM. That is the facts, you look silly saying otherwise.

It was an awesome game. Both sides need to tighten up on special teams and ball snapping, clock management. Congratulations Coach Shelly.

This is a good game with each team having two long drives.

Also… it’s hot
