Why not? Guy just beat 6-1 Giants with a 100 passer rating...

Not a big believer in Geno but credit to him for not playing victim, keeping his head down, improving and taking advantage of his opportunity.

An exceptional 212 passing yards today, and a remarkable 6.2 YPA

Truly an appearance worth bumping a thread

You’re worked up because a QB you don’t like is having a good season.

Weird.

I can like him and still think a bump after an average performance is absurd

But I am interested to see how he does down the stretch given the Seahawks have played the 32nd most difficult schedule to-date

That's nice and all but it's taken him nearly a decade to finally have a pretty decent season.

I mean I was only casually watching redzone so I only saw a few plays, but on top of his other 2 TDs, he threw a perfect 33 yard pass to Lockett that was dropped in the end zone.

He’s having his one-hit wonder season. We’ve seen it before with some career backup QBs

Before the season:
Seattle sucked last year, and they had Russell Wilson. Now they’re stuck with Geno Smith. They are going to be a legitimate contender for the number #1 overall draft pick

After Week 8:
The Seahawks are 5-3, top 5 in PPG, and Geno still doesn’t get any credit.

No one is claiming Seattle needs to sign him to a 5 yr/$200M contract, but give the man his due.
