Surely there are better pictures somewhere, right?

A Cretaceous bayou says “Hold muh huge fricking marine reptile.”
Damn nature of 70 million years ago, you scary.

Why would it be necessary to capture and kill a gator that old? That’s disgusting behavior.

“I’m glad this gator is gone from Lake St. John. I seen this gator last year when I was out test driving a boat. This is something I will never forget for sure. There still some big ones out there on Lake St. John,” Gauthier added.
I'm no animal rights kind of guy but frick this statement. That's the dude's home, you're the intruder.

I hope Troy and Ronnie killed it because it was killing pets livestock or people. No reason to kill it if it’s minding its own business

It doesn't mention anything like that in the article. Just says people saw him in the lake, aka his home.

Remember that when you get squirrels in your attic. Or bats. Or kill wasps, snakes, or any other varmints in/around your house. 800# or 80#, there’s way too many gators. Won’t shed a tear for that big fricker getting harvested.

Ehhh I get what you're saying but he's not in someone's yard, unless it's just missing from the article.
