You think they might be willing to reach into the UCF well one more time?

We'd give them Jimbo and 50 million and call it a day.

Jonathan Smith from Oregon State is low low key one of the best coaching in CFB right now.

How about Mike Zimmer?

He is currently an analyst for Jackson St. He is a bit older. But he flirted with taking the Nebraska job a long time ago..

Never understood why someone in that situation would want it.

Hes in a primo spot, stay in Lincoln and he'll have a job with the team for decades:

they win a few and hes looked at as a faithful husker alumni who stepped up to help and provided hope.

or

they crash and burn and struggle all year; he stepped up and did the best he could with what Frost left

Either way, hes looked at with love and appreciation

BUT, if he gets the head job and is not winning 9 games a year immediately and competing for natty in years 3-4, it's a quick trip to the unemployment line and who's next.

It has to be Fleck or Campbell right? No other p5 coaches would want to go try to fix that dumpster fire.

not sure if they inadvertently did it...he will get the job if they have a pulse.

They didn’t eat that extra $8 million to settle on Mickey Joseph. They’ll throw some money at some big names. Now whether they’re able to land them is another thing. I think PJ Fleck is an interesting name. He’s maxed out at Minnesota, and his “row the boat” schtick may be what they need to recruit.

Just fold the program if that’s a real option

The TV money will be the same, unless you are talking booster club $.

Historically Nebby has 8th most wins in all of college. Amazing the decline. Agree, they didn’t waste $7.5m to bring in a nobody

Leipold would be a good hire.

No, sir. He would be the worst hire possible. Nebraska should stay far, far away from him and leave him at Kansas.

OU fans have been spouting this all times wins thing lately...no one cares...especially 17 and 18 year olds.
