If Joseph looks even halfway competent they'll have a hard time avoiding howls of racism if they select someone else.
I mean, it's already been noted he is the first black HC in any sport at UNL.

No they want because they're almost certainly going to go after an established head coach like Rhule or Campbell. Mickey Joseph has never been a division one head coach

Stoops has paid his dues for almost a decade now at UK and looks like he's finally got some solid teams, it'd be sad to see him leave all that he's built plus his job security to go to Nebraska. Though I'm sure Nebraska could offer more money and money talks.

I just don’t see stoops leaving for Nebraska. If this was Ohio State or Michigan or even Iowa then maybe. But he’s not gonna wanna go anywhere that he has to rebuild again. And with the playoff expanding he doesn’t really need Nebraska to make the playoffs.

I think Stoops is a lifer at Kentucky unless something insane comes calling. I'm not even sure he would take the Iowa job
