The 'crowed' that follows the Jags is quite a bit different than the NBR criminal/thug collection !

These “theys” that think weed smells “terrible “ is bc they are so brainwashed by their mommy and the government that they think it’s terrible and evil so the smell is terrible. They smell weed and get scared “OMG mommie or police help me”. Evil weed smoker is here.

As far as comments about SU fans that’s just racist. Won’t admit it but it is. Had no problems. They just got nervous seeing so many blacks on LSU campus.

Medical Marijuana is legal in Louisiana. All you have to do is get a prescription. I have one & it's completely legal for me to go tailgate and smoke a joint. I'm always respectful of others, particularly families with young children. I try to get away on my own as to not bother others around me. But it's completely legal. I don't drink anymore. Me smoking a joint is no different to anybody
else drinking beer or whiskey. To each his own I suppose.

I'll also mention that I am a recovering alcoholic. I haven't had 1 drop of alcohol in 443 days and I credit Marijuana for helping me kick alcohol to the curb. 1 day at a time...

I had neighbors for years in an apartment that smoked it constantly, I used to work in a restaurant where practically everyone smoked it, I don't think it needs to be illegal, and I think it smells awful.

The only people falling down the bleachers, throwing up, fighting, etc. were the people drunk from alcohol. Nobody smoking weed does any of that from marijuana alone.

since they legalized medicinal marijuana in Oklahoma, it's everywhere now. I smell it at almost any public function. I voted to legalize it but really don't like around my kids at things like "Red White and Boom" downtown for example. I can only imagine what the fair will be like this year.

I drink beer but don't do other stuff.

But surely you can acknowledge that some drugs are stronger and more dangerous than others. I mean, drinking a beer is less dangerous than doing heroine, right?

In my mind, alcohol and weed are in the same boat.

Sorry but alcohol is far far far far worse. Kills so many people and ruins so many lives. Alcohol is truly an evil substance.

Alcohol is the most dangerous drug there is. It's a poison it destroys your internal organs, gives people wet brain. When your slurring your speech it's because your cutting off oxygen to your brain. It's also the one that causes the most harm to innocent people you black out and do things you would never do any drug except for benzos.

A couple said they wouldn't go to another game with Southern. I keep hearing "two different cultures."

LOL. Did they encounter Incan tribes of the Amazon (South America not Bezos) or some shite?

Here is a news flash for them. Black or White, southern culture isnt all that different.

WARNING: CSB to follow

In 2019, I was coming in on Joe Delpit earlier than I normally would. At previous games, I had always noticed a rather large yard party on a double vacant lot (It is on Delpit, so all Black of course). I'm at a 4 way stop, and notice they were just pulling some chicken off of a large pit. The smell was amazing and I had already had a few bloody marys and figured what the frick. I pulled up and introduced myself. After a few awkward seconds when I tried to give them a twenty for some chicken, we started talking about that night's LSU game and the sauce this older dude was pouring over the chicken. I ended up watching South Carolina beat Georgia with them, and if I were a blind man I would've had a tough time picking out Mr Frank from my own dad, right down to the lecture on how not to frick up chicken over an open fire. Not every single person there was friendly and I imagine a few were uncomfortable I was there. The majority could have given a frick who I was. I was never in any danger, I was treated like any other tailgate interloper, and I had a great frickin time.

I thanked Mr Frank and everyone for their hospitality, made them take the twenty and was made to take a box of chicken and a Beam and 7up roadie when I headed out. It took a bloody mary breakfast to give me the nerve to actually stop but Im damn glad I did.

Get out of your comfort zone and you will realize, no matter the color, the culture (especially around a football game) is damn similar.

I feel the same way. It's legal up here, and I think it should be, but I don't get why it has to be smoked everywhere in public. It's kind of trashy.

But, there is more. The behavior (language) in the stands from Southern fans was a problem too.

The Southern fans by me couldn’t have been more friendly and stayed for the entire game cheering on their team.

Yes. Campus smelled like weed.
