Aside from a few terrible decisions, I didn't think he looked that bad.

I'm glad the QB "controversy" can now be put to rest, but I think Nuss is a very capable backup for this team.

I'd like to think if he had to play in a close game, he doesn't throw the pick 6 pass. This could just be me wishing, though. I think he probably throws that first pick in any game.

All in all, I think we have a pretty good QB room. Nuss might not have "it" but he's solid with lots of arm talent.

He's not an SEC QB and will be gone next year. Howard is the future. Nuss made horrible decisions last night.

He was playing with a lot of 2s and 3s at the time.

He showed me what I already knew. JD should be the starter, and it’s not even close.

The point of getting PT against a team like southern isn't to not look awful.

Now imagine if Daniels made those “few terrible decisions”

I was very pro Nuss and there were a lot of moments in week 1 where I wanted to see him out there, but his performance Saturday shows he clearly isn’t ready and may never be. That was some real true freshman stuff and he should be a lot further ahead than that

Pretty clear Daniels is our guy for the next 2 years and rightly so.

He looked terrible. This year and next are for development. Walker will lead us to playoffs in 2024. These next two years will be a painful rebuild. It is what it is. If Daniels does not start processing sooner and make
More reads we will really be in deep shite in sec play.

Good lord mane.... Take his dick out your mouth and open your eyes.

Nuss has the talent and arm strength but again sticking with "gunslinger" mentality.

I want, hope and think he will get better as season progresses but he aint ready right now at all

I want Nuss to succeed, but he was legitimately bad. The accuracy was erratic and he probably ran the wrong way on the play where he threw the pick because no WRs went that way with him. Add the bad picks against a completely overmatched team and you have a mess.

I wouldn’t feel good about our chances if he had to come into an SEC game right now if Daniels gets injured. He’s going to force the ball.

Nuss plays hero ball and is consistently reckless with the football. In a close game he would only see the positives of trying to make a winning play, so you’d get exactly what you saw there.

Remember when 50% of our fans wanted Nuss because he could “read” defenses better basically because he’d white. I do.

Dumbest fans in all of college football.

The second INT was inexcusable.

Nice Spin-zone.

That pick 6 was worse than Johnson’s ucla trick shot.

I like Nuss and think he can be a good qb but last night wasn’t a good game.

Nuss looked so bad that Howard got to play....
Glad we have Daniels running the show for sure.
