"The plan is for me to fight at 185 [pounds] going forward and that's what I wanted this fight at given it was the weight Anderson Silva fought at during his reign as the most dominant UFC champion ever," Paul told ESPN. "Anderson's team asked if we could set the weight at 187, 2 pounds more than what I wanted. That level of professionalism and precision is appreciated, and of course I agreed to his request."

Boxing or MMA because even an old AS will kick Jake Paul in half

Anderson still had very good head movement and hand speed in the last boxing match I saw him in. I could see him laying on the ropes and turtling up until Paul makes a mistake.

Silva's Chin has deteriorated. Paul is going to KO him.

what makes you think this? he has only been ko'ed by uriah hall and chris weidman. he wasnt knocked out cold by hall and he was playing around and got caught by weidman. If you want to say he is old then that is fine, but i dont see any evidence that he doesnt have a chin.

Anderson was still fighting in the UFC like a year it two ago.

He is also one of the best striker's ever in the UFC.

Rogan said the other day that if Anderson had focused only on boxing during his career, he probably would have been a world champion.

This is also the guy who said Rhonda Rousey would beat most of the male fighters in her weight class as well, so take what he says how you will.

Either way, this will be a real test for Jake Paul. He's never fought anyone as precise and Silva.

In saying all that, if Paul connects, Silva is glprobably going down. You can frame it however you want, but Jake has real thunder in his right hand, and he moves like a real fighter.

I think silva has a good shot at beating him but I think the mike perry fight made more sense.

Why doesn't this goofball fight actual boxers? This is just some sideshow hobby for this guy. He doesn't want to be champion of anything but social media.

I mean he just tried to fight 2 real boxers if you were paying any attention, and also a 47 year old Silva def has the skills to beat him, not gonna be an easy fight for Jake.

Silva's biggest name win in the boxing ring is against Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. who's not a pimple on his father's arse as far as being a dedicated boxer goes.

He did hold a title in boxing but was known for doing it half-assed most of the time. Silva got a UD against him in an 8 round bout.
