He became a douche and it was a bad decision letting him take total control but I did read this stuck the landing thread as "last episode" for some reason.
Still MASH didn't fall off the cliff (I mean obviously 70% of the country still liked it) unlike LOST.
The final season of MASH from memory became less funny and more sentimental about war...which is a decent bookend to end the series... Given the serious topic.

Idk I think there was a huge unfilled gap with Cuddy and Cameron gone. 13 did an okay job, but then she left too. I did not care for the last team really. Finale was decent but the last few seasons just weren't as good as the earlier ones imo
