He dropped a TD.

He thinks he’s Chase, we’ll Chase catches that Td.

He wants to be involved, the he needs to get his fricking head around and catching his SECOND TD.

This is such a fricking dumb take when he had multiple TD opportunities and HE fricked up.

So the drop and not looking for the ball on the second potential TD are fine?

I do not follow.

It looked they they wanted to get him involved. Most pass plays in the first half broke down and ended up being a QB scramble. They did throw him a pass in the end zone that he couldn’t bring in. The. Threw another to him at the goal line and he wasn’t even looking for the ball. A few more drops. I don’t think it’s fair to say they didn’t want to involve him.

Most of it was the QB scrambling too much. He needs to be able to step back into the pocket and pass the ball down field more. We have too many good receivers to scramble if the first option isn’t immediately open.

Good because I will downvote. Daniels threw two TD’s to him that he dropped, along with other drops. Daniels is not the problem. He practically put the ball in his fricking hands.

But we are talking about Todd McShay. Neither of that applies to him

JD was running for his life. Partly due to playcalling after the 2nd possession. Should have changed the plan.

Reports were that Boutte and Kelly got into it and Kayshon is pissed. He should be pissed at himself tho. He was tied for most targets. He dropped 4 passes. I love him being a tiger but take responsibility.

Who cares what Todd McShay thinks? BTW, I disagree with him.

Lol. He has 1 yd passing in the 1st quarter and hardly anything at half passing. But that man is the answer…..okay. You’re so smart. Film don’t lie.

Or let’s talk the lack of getting Bech involved.

That would be the tale of the tape as the saying goes...

What did Boutte do when he scrambled?
- scramble drill to help him out?
- block once he crossed LoS?
- finish his route and become a spectator?
- run away from scramble side to get out of traffic?

I didn't watch close enough to know. But that will tell you much more than a dropped contested catch or body language on the sideline.

I bet you Hankton knows.

As for McShay... fact remains he was targeted more times than anyone else AND all the while JD did do a good job of spreading it around.

He’s good but he’s not anywhere in Chase’s league or Jefferson for that matter. He could be if he wanted to but he just gives off the IDGAF vibe. Wouldn’t shock me if he packed it in and sat out the year. He knows he will still be a 1st round pick but unlike Chase he won’t go too 5 if he sits. More like 10-15 which is a big pay cut on his rookie deal.

The coaching staff straight up refused to get him involved.

Remind me again…

Which receiver was targeted first last night?

Which receiver had the most targets on the team last night?

It’s almost as if they tried to get him involved early and often, but when the game was on the line they had to go with the guys that were fighting for catches, producing results, and showing interest…
