After watching the games yesterday, FSU is even more of a must win.

Mississippi State, Florida and Tennessee all look like legit football teams while the jury is out on Auburn.

We have better athletes and coaching than FSU; however, they have that one damn game under their belt.

34-23 Tigers.

The first game of the season is a must win? You don’t say.

I’m not sure how much that game helped them. Playing a team as bad as the Dukes may have given FS a false sense of “game speed” and confidence. It’ll be interesting how they respond with their first moment of adversity

I don’t care what the score is so long as we win and actually look competent and well-conditioned.

There were some blowouts this weekend that were just the result of teams leaning on talent and mismatches over clearly inferior opponents, but looking suspect even in winning (A&M, USC Gamecocks, USC Trojans, Tenn).

I want to see that we have talent and we are playing well enough to round into form by October when the games start getting harder.

Those 3 teams all have solid QB play. It’s going to be a fun year.

I want to see the defensive line get penetration and wreak havoc all night, that and get back to flying to the ball and team tackling.

Florida gave up 230 yards rushing to Utah…. Idk if we watched the same game or not but Utah lined up and ran right at UF, with success. They just got not punch it in and that cost them the game. If Utah can run on UF like that, so will other SEC schools. UF did what they had to do to win but that game wasn’t as impressive as some are saying.

Utah runs like that on everybody. We won’t be able to match what they do in the run game.

I think the game under their belts may be a concern for the first couple of drives each way. Watching yesterday, a lot of top teams took awhile to get going. After that it shouldn't be much of a factor.

If Fla. St is in this game when the 4th qtr. starts, LSU may not finish above 500.

Not to mention that Billy Napier - a coach many of us wanted LSU to hire (though im happy with BK)- and his Florida squad pulled off the upset of the weekend …. At least Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame lost .

Heck VANDERBILT looks like a worldbeater after their first two games. If Vandy doesn't have Bama on their schedule, they could go a long, long way this year.

I don’t know what the hell y’all see In Florida! Utah was going up and down the field in there asses and damn near won the game Florida has problems if it wasn’t for spectacular plays by there qb they would have lost the game! Outside of the qb what do they have ? Eventually Florida will play better athletes and when they do it won’t look the same sorry I’m not buying Florida!

afraid of Southern, thinking Vanderbilt is a world beater… they beat an FCS school by 11. I couldn’t tell if serious at first when I read that Southern take but this explains so much about the rest of your takes

34-10 LSU, ACC is a weak conference. LSU controls the game in the trenches.
