No, of course not.

Grow up and get some life experience…kid.
I'm 55 yrs old. My kids have kids. I was one of only 37 white people at a Cameo/Midnight Star concert in 1986 at the PMAC. I am the only person in my extended family to have graduated college (unless you count my daughters). I have been fired 4 times, jumped an entire hibiscus on a Schwinn orange crate bicycle at age 11, almost caught a MLB foul ball, lost $2300 in a single hand of bouret, and started my own company 11 years ago in an industry I knew very little about (I have yet to be fired), and I just got back from a dive bar where I watched two retired strippers try to dry out a spot on the carpet where one of them had spilled a drink by using a propane tank that they spent 45 minutes unhooking from a gas grill that was just inside the entrance. They would still be there trying to get it off the grill if I had not given them lefty loosey right tighty advice.

You’re just an angry man
The strippers would disagree, but I can make an angry face if it helps you sleep better.

Well, I have shot at more ducks than I care to count and hit less than I care to admit. Does that make me cool enough for you?
But it thrills me to hear that you are actually assuming nothing.

link with more background
Looks like he contacted her out of the blue after years had passed. Also, the daughter was comforting towards her father.

Buckshot woulda worked well in this case. Looks like he smoked him with a handgun
My link in the previous post shows the handgun he used.

It’s absolutely certain that young man won’t be back to cause any more trouble.

I’m good with it, but he’ll probably get screwed cause the kid wasn’t in the house yet.
Idk about Ohio, but it's definitely a good shoot in Louisiana.

I don't know. What I do know is that I don't care.

Ohio has Castle doctrine laws. Because the intruder was attempting to break down the door, the law applies. So legally he is justified in shooting the intruder.

Agree. A savage beating would have been more appropriate. Too many people rely on guns because they are either too weak or too fat and obese to protect themselves. Either way kid got what was coming to him. You don’t try and break a door in unless you are prepared to suffer the consequences of what is on the other side.

I mean, in normal America you break in, you get shot.

I would have no regrets.
Physically breaking down a door when told to leave and the person inside announces they have a gun?
How does the dad know the guy doesn’t have a gun, knife, or other weapon?
And you shoot to put down the threat. You don’t shoot once and then see what happens. That’s movie bullshite.

I've seen another version of this video where you can cleay hear the dad warn him he has a gun and is going to shoot. That video also has footage that shows the door casing and door jamb were busted off. Good shoot.

You are fricking stupid and i hope you dont have family that relies on your judgement for protection.

What do you do when he catches your daughter alone several months later? Maybe he is hiding behind her car when she leaves work and then slits her throat? How do you solve for that?

Imagine this situation but without the video.

There would still be physical evidence of a forced entry, and plenty of eyewitness testimony to confirm physical evidence.
