BR media suggesting there’s more than just a tactical advantage at play

Rabalais from The Advocate suggested that there’s more than just a tactical advantage at play in Kelly not naming a starting QB. Not sure what Rabalais was implying because the article was later removed before I could click on it at 4:00 am. But my guess is, there is another advantage in Kelly not naming a QB until game day. Less pressure on the one starting and it makes both QB’s feel they’re in this together as a team. That’s an obvious advantage.

He clearly stated the team knows so your reasoning doesn’t match what he said. He just doesn’t want fsu to know. There is film on both qbs. One is legit 4.4 fast. That’s why. Forces fsu to prep for two qbs that have a different set of talents.

The reasoning still stands. I'm not saying this is the case, but limiting OUTSIDE pressure is absolutely something that can be done by not naming the starter publicly.

It's funny how everyone was saying there is no tactical advantage to waiting. Now that he is intentionally not disclosing before kick off there is definitely a tactical advantage, but there is more to it.

BR media in the dark means they have to sell phantom news like “more than meets the eye” tangential news.

i think they'll both "start", just for the shite of it. one in the shotgun and one lined up out wide. then we can put aside all this who started bullshite, as they'll both likely get snaps early on until 1 separates.
