His results at Cincy were elite. He put their football program on the map. They had one 10-win season in their history about 60 years before he got there and he had three 10+ win seasons in three years there including an undefeated regular season.
His results resurrecting a shitty ND program were also elite. He had seven 10+ win seasons in 12 years there including two undefeated regular seasons, two trips to the playoffs and a national championship game appearance. He ended his time there with 5 straight 10+ win seasons winning 55 games in his last 5 years. The only thing he didn't do was win an NC, but considering ND had only 5 winning seasons in the 10 years prior to his arrival, his results in resurrecting their program were elite.
Now we'll see what he can do in the toughest conference in America.

This is looking like a show that’s well past it’s prime, format, announcing team, content. They are simply not likable people, with the exception of a worn out Lee Corso.

I agree completely. Top 5 brand in football. But it still is a minority in viewership.

Guy, if Game Day didn’t talk about Kelly, they would say nada. They respect him and they know we have a great coach and they know we will be coming back in the NC discussion. Except for Les Miles everyone hated him except some LSU Fans. I never liked him day 1. He was a complete jackass..

We’ve had caricatures since 2006.
Obviously, media is trying to make one from Kelly, but after a couple of years, the way he does things will make the ‘media clown’ stuff go away.
And I’m thankful for it.

Ok, I have failed at explaining my point. I’m not adding all the viewers together, but let’s say it’s 100 million. LSU represents 3 million of that. Which is why I agreed that it was a top 5 brand…but 3% of total viewership is a minority they can afford to poke fun at.

It's because for almost 20 years LSU has had a bumbling fool as a head coach. Making fun of the LSU coach was just what everyone did

Well viewership is not determined the way you describe. I listed the viewership reports from last year and where they ranked. LSU is the #5 most watched College Football Team in the Country. Your point is nonsense.
