One dinner in Atlanta

Saturday night a few weeks from now. Will be staying downtown but anywhere within reason is fine. Preferably somewhere in a walkable area (Inman Park, Little Five Points, etc) where we could walk around a few places and have drinks after.

Not sure what you’re looking for, but here are a few to research:
Vortex Burger in Little Five
Hattie Bs for Nashville Hot Chicken in Little Five
Fox Bros is right there too
I love the grilled octopus at Kyma in Buckhead

I know it isn't dinner, but if you need breakfast or lunch the Atlanta breakfast club is solid.

La Grotta
I have just a little bit of experience sampling the Atl restaurant scene, but this is an excellent Italian restaurant.

Kevin Rathbun Steak
This is on our list whenever we have a night or two in ATL. It's not traditional, but they make an old fashioned with walnut bitters that is one of my favorite mixed drinks. The wait staff has always gone out of their way to ensure the entire experience is perfect.

Miller Union is hard to beat. Satterfield has won the James Beard award and his dessert chef was a finalist for this year.

Amore (former Localino) in L5 Points.
Really darn good modern Italian. Enjoy.

Check out Ponce City Market. Tons of food & drink options to choose from there. Also am a big fan of Holeman & Finch. They've toned it down a bit in recent years, but you used to be able to go in there and eat some really interesting things. We had lamb brains on toast once that was unreal, like butter. I haven't seen stuff like that on the menu recently, but it's still a cool spot for adventurous eaters.
