He is either confessing to having no idea how to condition offensive linemen whatsoever, considering he has been a head coach for 6 years already or admitting he hired a guy who is running counterproductive workouts and potentially leaving his players more to injury.

Frost’s comment appeals to the type of guy who was excited to hear that under Curley Hallman, LSU players were toughening up and tackling 4-5 sessions a week in practice.

Bear Bryant's Junction Boys went 1-9, I'm guess Scott Frost didn't read that part of the story.

Not sure that this is something I would be telling folks. Probably doesn't help recruiting and after what happened at Maryland a few years ago, it isn't a good look.

Taking so much pride in making your own players throw up that you brag about it to reporters is not a good indicator of success for a coach in 2022.

These types of coaches never work in the long run. They may get lucky and have one or two teams that buy into that nonsense, but the first class of players that doesn’t can scuttle the program quickly.

They conditioned all summer and they are in week 3 of fall camp. If they are still throwing up every practice there is a pretty serious problem.

This is the type of thing that gets me about the “young healthy athlete dies suddenly” crowd. Getting pushed to your limit cardiovascularly will absolutely bring out any defect with your system. While this is extreme, athletes go through intensive events constantly.

Hopefully for this team no one has underlying issues.

how there are still coaches that think things like this and 110s are good things are beyond me.

and we wonder why he is about to be fired. NW is gonna shove it up their arse late in the game because they are going to be under recovered....watch.

He will never get a 5star guy with that nonsense. A guy who has a chance to go pro is not going to put that in jeopardy to play for a clown who may get him injured or dead.

they're clearly not recovering from their workouts and/or the workouts are too intense.

Even if no player gets hurt I can envision one of these players suing the school over this.

even if none of that occurs, its shows Frost's lack of understanding of how football is played and how conditioning and energy systems work.
