That’s exactly what they’ll be targeting and with people doing the majority of their transactions digitally as opposed to cash, they’ll have a record of every dollar you took in and spent.

It’s the perfect time too. Baby boomers have retired or are beginning to retire. Won’t be long till they start dying off as well. This is the equivalent of sharks beginning to circle in the water. The govt is preparing to feast

I can't shake the feeling they will audit people without any knowledge or input from them.
They will send you a bill saying you owe this much if you don't agree, won't pay, or can't pay they come for you fully armed.

Current staffing at the IRS is 78,000. Around 50% of the staff, which includes everything from, auditors, to IT to phone reps, is expected to retire of the next 5 years. So they are expecting to net around 25-30000 total employees of the next ten years which would bring their staffing to levels we seen in previous years.

OK, I'm opposed to the administration. And I use a CPA for my taxes. What in the hell more will they get from me. I live in the 20% marginal tax rate bracket. Now if I was a small businessman I'd be more concerned. They will dig into those books. But what are they gonna do? Isn't it back taxes and interest?
