A long time ago I drove on the sunshine skyway after it was hit. They were building the new one and only a 2 lane section of the old bridge was still up I think that’s what was going on. It’s been a while. I just know it had me puckered up. We were down for a brothers baseball tourney. Had to cross it twice a day for a week.

There is another one I went somewhere by Lafayette or Lake Charles. That one was no fun either.

I have been on Huey P Long bridge but I was a kid and don’t remember much

Paul Simon is not only a pretentious a-hole but also a dumbass. I once was riding on the Lake Bridge during a terrible storm. Huge waves were riding up. The fact that I was on a bridge did not ease my mind at all.

Old I-10 bridge over Lake P after Katrina in the dark when those temp sections were in place. It was pitch black out there at the time.

All the bridges on state highways in North Louisiana that still have the Huey P Long placard on them. Narrow arse bridges built for cars made in the 30's.

I'm sure there's more of them in South Louisiana, I just haven't driven most of them.

Did my driving test across the old Huey P. Went across and back and that was it. I guess if you don’t die, you pass.

I can’t imagine another bridge being worse.

The old Cooper river bridges in Charleston, SC. One was 20’ wide 2 lanes with no median or shoulders/curbs and the other had 3 slightly less skinny lanes one opposing traffic with no divider. or the pre renovation Huey P when you’d get stuck on top with trains passing in either direction shaking the shite out of that thing.

Both scenarios sucked equally

Rainbow Bridge between Port Arthur and Bridge City, TX, when it was still 2 ways. Also wasn't too thrilled driving over the 1-10 temporary bridge over Pensacola Bay after Hurricane Ivan knocked the permanent bridge out in 2004.

Paging TulaneLSU.

I hate I-10 in Baton Rouge. The bridge itself isn’t scary, but I hate driving on it going eastbound because of the stupid and neglected freeway at the 110 curve and beyond.

Huey Long in Metairie before they widened it sucked.

The one that crossed the San Francisco Bay at San Mateo is a traffic nightmare but is not really that bad.

The double decker one in Pittsburgh (376) is a little sketchy.

I have two that I find scary that are only a few miles apart. The two 310 flyovers. The one that you take off airline in between Laplace and Kenner. And then the other one that puts you going back west towards Laplace on I10. Single lanes and in a curve. I always see me jumping the rail.
