I hope this is the case and people have learned not to show their hand until you are the last person standing. Elections have become one giant poker game at this point.

One quick way to greatly lessen the opportunity for fraud would be to require precise ballot counts from each precinct within X hours of closing.
All votes segregated by provenance until totaled.
For example
Precinct XYZ
1,322 early votes
440 mail-in votes received prior to Election Day
27 mail-in votes received the day of the election
3,587 Election Day votes
And those totals would be job one for each precinct.
It would give nice heat maps for fraud attempts.
You count down the cash drawer for a business when you close. Not 8 days later.
All votes segregated by provenance until totaled.
For example

27 mail-in votes received the day of the election
3,587 Election Day votes

Thats a great idea. But the states with problems don’t want to fix them.
