Damn that’s a banging deal

I wonder if they’re trying to sell a bunch of these and make way for the 60v battery to take over everything

Same. It never seemed to seat well in tools and did not hold a charge well.

Really?

I haven’t had any issues with mine (x2). It certainly looked legit and was packaged just like a factory Dewalt.

Maybe there was a mix of factory and knockoff, depending on seller or something.

Amazon is loaded with fake products. I buy power tool batteries from HD, Lowes, CPO, or local hardware stores only these days. I had a Milwaukee M12 battery fail and it was a no-hassle warranty replacement with a HD receipt.

Weird, the listing is direct from Dewalt's Amazon store so odd that it would be a fake.

Either way, Home Depot had a really good sale for Black Friday last year and I hope they have it again this year. Two 20v batteries, a 5ah and 6ah, for $199 and you got a "free" tool. I opted for the 1/2" impact which is normally around $200 for the tool alone. If they run the same sale again I'll probably buy it and get the circular saw this year, I found myself bitching several times using my corded one during the year.

They also have a 2, 4, 6ah battery package for $149 that comes around the holidays. I have lots of batteries and plenty of chatgers so I only buy tools as needed. Picked up a PowerStack battery today to go with my heated DeWalt hoodie...

You have to look at it hard but it is actually sold by a different seller.

When I opened the link, Amazon shows I purchased the battery in 2019. It appears to be the real McCoy and still gets used regularly.

Same... AND, the battery still works fine. I'll take the refund and keep using my fake battery. Thanks.

I have some 6ah batteries and this one dies much quicker. I always thought there is no way there is that big of a difference between and 5ah and 6ah.

Makes sense now.

I also have a 9ah flex volt now, that thing never dies
