Whenever I see so many trolls on here it boosts my confidence in LSU Athletics because it shows the competition is nervous. The Sleeping Giant is awake.

I do think people have gone too far the other way now.
Their expectations are too high.
The coaches don't even know how the o line will look.
Campbell is going to start at left tackle. The fact that they don't even have an upperclassmen is crazy.
I feel the same way about the secondary. I think 8 wins should be the mark.
If kelly can get 8 wins this yr everyone should be impressed.

8 wins is the expectation, 10 wins and I will be impressed.
This is LSU. We don’t rebuild, we reload. Coach Kelly has already plugged so many holes with the transfer portal that it’s ridiculous to set the expectations at 6 or 7 wins again. It would be indefensible.

Ok, well reloading from a 5 and 6 win team, who will have a heavy dose of transfers starting, sounds a lot like a rebuild if you expect 8 wins and won’t be impressed unless we win 10

I won't say that expectations aren't high, but I think anything less than 8 is disappointing. Inversely, some people are looking down on this team for how the bowl game played out. Kelly has filled a lot of holes in the roster. We have 4 quality scholarship QBs (fighting for the start). As for Campbell starting, I believe it has as much to do with him being that talented as it does lack of anything else... You're acting like there haven't been other freshmen that started at tackle in the SEC and did well... Cam Robinson at Alabama and Kenyon Green (started at guard freshman year, but has played at tackle) at 8&4feit come to mind as examples when discussing this. They have some work to do still, but the offensive line will surprise some people this year, I believe. The secondary, admittedly, is a bit of a mystery as to how it will turn out, but I am willing to bet that it will be better than in 2020. If they can work together as a single cohesive unit, they should be fine.

Mississippi State will be the hardest of these four games. Tennessee will be the second hardest. The tigers should get at least 3 wins out of these four games.
