My guess is someone showed her some of the laws of Singapore, and that she shouldn't try getting her "stash" into the country, or her chewing gum.

You know what I respect?
Job performance.
Job performance.

The biggest problem with LA politics is they treat leaders like kings. She would die up here. They're rough on politicians.

Politicians are not due any "respect".
They are citizens just like us. In fact, they are due all disrespect.
Get the fricking job you were elected to do done.

Respect doesn't come from elected position. It comes from actions while in elected position.
Democrats do not understand this. Neither do about half of the Republicans.

To be fair, Singapore may be one of the better places to learn about the proper way to deal with crime

Orleans Parish demographics will vote for some other a-hole who will be just as incompetent and retarded for the next election. The cycle will continue.

What an entitled, arrogant count. I don't live in or near NOLA but I hate this woman with a vengeance.

Curious to know who she will endorse during the next mayoral election.
Y'all need to mobilize now or take it on the chin again.

I think everyone will shy away from her endorsement.
The likely candidates next election are:
JP Morrell (pretty good guy that gets it)
Helena Moreno
Oliver Thomas (convicted felon)
Guess which one will win?

She’s so predictable in her finger pointing
It’s always everyone else’s fault
It’s always everyone else’s fault

What a smug bitch. Im so sick of this entitlement bullshite that has made its way into politics, but i'm more sick of people who are OK with it and continue voting the same way.
NOLA is a strange duck when it comes to this. Barely anybody votes. And if you suggest that its crazy to keep voting democrat, they call you a racist.
All day long my neighbors moan about the garbage pickup and streets and police, but then you suggest voting republican and they FLIP OUT.
Here's what I don't get. Why do the democrats insist on failing in a city that has been theirs for 100 years? Why not pick one and absolutely kick arse, then rub it in our face about how their cities are better?
I mean everybody knows NOLA and Saint Louis and such are total dumps.

She reads here. It was pointed out in yesterday's thread that the convention was supplying her flight, accommodations, paying her, etc. She was fully going to accept that and charge the city of New Orleans for it all too.
After reading that thread, she checked the legality of that double dip, then cancelled.
The sad thing is, y'all will probably vote her into the governor's mansion when Rango leaves as governor.

What does a dog have to do with it? Dogs are good, and don't fly first class. And some even curb themselves.

Crazy part is if the actual republican voters would just show up on election day, the city would probably flip. Especially if a candidate worth a shite actually ran for some of these positions

wow. What genius? The genius of having the murder capital of the world? A police department that is on the brink of collapse? An infrastructure that can’t provide running water or electricity to its people? These people are so tone deaf.

Yet, of those 10, there was only one that the media wrote a story about and tried to publicly humiliate. There has to be more to that story. Other than the fact that guy said “frick you to everybody.”
