IB4 tik-tok videos.
IB4 Focker gifs and memes.
IB4 we are all whores. I am!! But I’m a guy. So that SHOULD take care of “pics?”
How many of you are still at bedside? This post Covid shortage is a real thing. It’s not as much a shortage as it is nurses flocking to the non bedside and remote jobs.
I’ve done ER for years and loved it. It’s where I am meant to be if I’m to do inpatient/bedside. But as years fall by and I see enough I got away. The pay has gone up and I still left. Because now any hospital job pays nearly the same.
Remote jobs pay less. But if you are of sound financial mind, you can live with a small pay cut. And be a telephone nurse or sit at home with laptop and do case management.
I got out. The Covid Surge this summer is mocked as it should be. Everyone who said all along “it’s just a cold” are right this time. Omicron is just a cold. Covid will just be another Corona virus to add to the list. BUT!!! People still come out in droves with the complaint “I got Covid”.
This flu season is shaping up to be real comeback for the good old flu. After a spike through yet another summer. For non healthcare sneering at this post. Summer is the slow season for hospitals. Not this year. This shitty summer will tie right into an old fashioned flu season.
I am out. Outpatient job.
This is really just a discussion. Any others care to weigh in? IB4 nurses are fat.

Look at Psyche nursing. Plenty of contract nursing positions open.

You should have stopped there.

Dude, are you drunk?

Could have posted pics of the female nurses that you would never have a chance with. Of course I have the feeling you like the different kind of Jody.

I’m still at the bedside(Murse here). I both love and hate it, but the staffing squeeze is becoming a real problem both from lack of bodies to staff the unit, and the hospital trying to recoup losses incurred during Covid.
For now it’s still bedside for me. It pays fairly well with good benefits, only 3 12’s, home with family the other 4 days.

The ones I work with? If middle aged Filipino women is your fetish? I could have hooked you up.

All comes down to drive time for me. If your drive sucks. Absolutely. Decent drive a five 8’s is a good schedule WITHOUT weekends or holidays. If weekends are included, disregard.

Switching from the provider to the pay payor side can often pay even more than clinical work (without OT)

When you were in a lecture hall waiting for a professor, did any of your female classmates give you neck rubs? I saw that many times passing by the nursing classes.

There is an opening for a nurse in cardiac rehab at the hospital in mccomb. From what i understand it doesnt pay a lot, but pretty sweet gig according to a buddy. Its a non covid pay type position.

Is that anything like psych nursing?

I’m still at bedside but Doing acute dialysis, not a bad gig at all. Lots of options and I’m mostly working along which is great, no cacklin hens around. My wife switched to remote a couple years ago and loves it, she’ll never go back she said.
But for those still doing traditional floor nursing, find yourself an internal contract and make $90/hr. I know Ochsner and OLOL both offering that rate. There’s a handful of NP’s who went back to icu to make the $$

I got away from the beside about 8 years ago and have never regretted it. No amount of money could bring me back now.
