Sec. of State calls for impeaching New Orleans Mayor and City Council

The Louisiana Bond Commission today refused to approve a $39 million line of credit for the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board to build an electrical substation.
"This is called anarchy," Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin proclaimed.
It also came with a call to throw the mayor and city council out of office.
He told Mayor LaToya Cantrell and the New Orleans City Council, "You took an oath... you don't get to pick and choose which laws are enforced in the state of Louisiana."
Ardoin says New Orleans leaders have blatantly stated they will violate the law.
The mayor instructed the NOPD not to investigate any claims of illegal abortions.
The council approved a resolution banning the expenditure of any city funds to investigate any alleged abortions in New Orleans.
"In my opinion, they should all be impeached," Ardoin announced.

I’m actually encouraged a state wide elected official actually had the balls to publicly state this and in no veiled sense.
I hope the rest follow suit and actually stand up for themselves and us, their constituents.
