Did you look at carmax? A friend of mine has a daughter about to start college and just bought her a 2018 civic there for a reasonable price

I bought a 2011 Nissan Rogue for the kiddos but I’m I’m not real happy that I keep putting money into it. Sometimes cheap just isn’t

Jesus. It would be more believable if they were offering the 10k to take it off their hands.

I’d stay away from anything with a CVT as a used, higher mileage option.

odd i had a similar conversation with a guy not long ago. he just hadnt needed a vehicle in a while because of the cities he lived in.

buy a nissan leaf, you can plug it in and get to point a to b if its not that far.

Pay cash for an old toyota echo, any mileage. They are reliable, high mileage, great economy, and zippy.

You’d be surprised how much people pay for those early 2000’s Suburbans. I recently sold a 2002 with 240k on it. I had acquired it to pull the motor out of for a project but had changed my mind. It had body damage and a busted transmission yet I had absolutely no trouble getting $5k for it.

I will sell you our #3 car cheap. 2011 Subaru Outback full of dents. People get out of the way when they see that POS coming down the road.

Oldest low mileage Toyota you can find

I recommend verifying that said Toyota has an engine with a timing CHAIN and not a timing BELT. The ones with the timing chain are essentially bullet proof and will run forever with routine maintenance.

I bought an 04 tahoe z71 4x4 with 140k miles back in 2016 or so for $6500. I wonder what it would be worth these days
