2002 Sugar Bowl
2019 Fiesta Bowl

In the first, capping off our first great season in over 20 years with an SEC Championship and Sugar Bowl victory. That was best season in my lifetime until the NCAA championships.

In the second, we saw Joe Burrow put the team on his back and destroy UCF after taking a vicious hit. We got a glimpse of the all-time best team that year in a New Year 6 bowl.

The Sugar Bowl vs ND was fun but I have a special place in my heart for the Miami game. Against ND we were pretty favored and ND had been blown out in a bunch of bowls already to that point. For Miami we had a backup QB, even if that backup would leads us to a title a couple years later, and Miami still had that aura about them. To beat them 40-3 like that and then beat them up literally in the tunnels was *chefs kiss*

That was the first LSU game I saw on TV. The 1966 season was when I started going to the games.

That, and the Independence Bowl vs. Saban's Michigan State team were my two favorites.

The 2011 Cotton Bowl was awesome. TM7’s TD still counts to me damn it!

This, though it was the 2010 season played in 2011.

TM7 was defensive MVP.

I was pretty waisted by the end of that one in Jerry's world.

- ‘87 Gator Bowl vs non SEC member South Carolina. SC had the “Black Death” defense and had National Champion Miami on the ropes that year, losing 20-16. Their D was predicted to smother us, but we manhandled them 30-13. At that point that was only the 2nd bowl win in like 15 years so it was sweet.

SC also had the “Run & Shoot “ offense featuring one of the Sharpes at WR (Sterling or Shannon). They couldn’t do anything against us.

I was in Tiger Band. Great trip.

1966 Cotton Bowl. Went with my brothers and we beat Arkansas 14-7.

This was a great win. Cost Arkansas a National Championship and broke their win streak. I was 10 and watched it on our 25” Black & White Motorola.

There is a famous picture of Cholly Mac hugging Carl Maddox after the game.

2005 Peach is up there

Believe it or not, the Saban Peach Bowl over GEorgia Tech as sign of things to come was pretty sweet.

I was at sea for most of that season then got home to see LSU football had a pulse, got tickets to the bowl game and the rest was history

2002 Sugar Bowl vs Illinois

My personal favorite because I was a high school senior in suburban Chicago, I had recently gotten accepted to LSU, and a lot of my classmates were going to Illinois.

The Illini were actually outright Big Ten champs, but because the BCS championship game rotated to Pasadena that season, they missed out on a Rose Bowl trip and got us in the Dome instead. A buddy of mine is still bitter about it.

Was at this game and there were sooo many tech fans and they all thought they’d kick out arse. We see how that went. Still have a badass program from that game

When we beat Louisville and heisman winner, now NFL mvp Lamar Jackson. That may have been one of the most dominating defensive performances I’ve ever seen, especially against a player like him. So fun to watch, Arden key and Jamal both had huge games

The first one that popped in my head was beating UCF. They came in cocky as hell with their 25 game win streak. Then they unleashed Burrow with a cheap shot.

2010 Sugar

LSU is an all or nothing type of program. They’re either playing for a National Title or they’re in a random bowl that majority don’t care about.

Rohan had a whole game worth of stats by halftime. Same as Burrow against Okie in playoffs.

I loved the 2001 Peach Bowl (after 2000 season) when Trev Faulk killed the Georgia Tech QB, Godsey. Rohan played in the second half and fricked those queers up with Josh Reed.

This is also the game Brad Smalling got benched. He was the Thomas Dunson of the oline.

1966 Cotton Bowl.

Defending National Champ Arkansas on a 22-game win streak and Joe Labruzzo I think was MVP.

The worst thing: we knocked of pototential repeat National Champ only to give the championship to guess who?

Whipping Miami's arse on and off the field sure was fun. Those 2005/2006 teams were insanely good
