Didn't last long, already swinging back up here.
Went up $0.35 in two days.

That saves the average driver about $25 a month.

Gas still being double the price of the Dark Days of Orange Man actually saves you money.

When Trump was in office it cost me 30.00 to fill up. Yesterday it cost me 75.00. so 4 fill ups per month 300.00 now 120.00 then. 180.00 more now. so we should be happy?

It’s has dropped slightly because the economy sucks and there is decreased demand not because he has improved supply

I thought the President didn’t affect gas prices.

Yeah, gas is “only” $3.529 here in St. Landry Parish (Murphy Oil).

“Only” about $1.50 too high.

Still $4.85-$4.99 when we drove through WV/VA Thursday. Today, oddly Alabama was expensive. The cheapo suspicious Safeway on 65 south as you’re driving out of Montgomery was $4.20 or so. Also strangely was, the Shell by the Creek Indian place which is usually higher than everywhere else was $3.76. Is this a tax thing?

Costco in Montgomery was $3.89 today.

All over the place.

It’s like cutting your foot off because your big toe had an ingrown nail and getting one of those blade legs, saying, “everything is fine, life is back to normal.” Gas is still $3.98, $2 more than it should be.

Don’t worry. On June 3, the European Union adopted a sixth package of sanctions, including a partial embargo on Russian oil. The sanctions will ban seaborne imports of Russian crude oil as of December 5, 2022, and ban petroleum product imports as of February 5, 2023.

If Washington sticks to its current pace, the reserve will shrink to a 40-year low of 358 million barrels by the end of October, when the releases are due to stop.

That means worldwide supply will be scarcer than ever. Gas is going to hit highs we thought would have been impossible just a couple of years ago.
