I'll tell you this:
Go my first pair of cargo shorts in like 10 years. Holy shite! Why did people turn on these so hard a few years back? They're fantastic! I've got convenient (and comfortable) room for all my things everywhere I go. Down vote away, snobs. I'm back on board!

I have a pair of Under armor cargo shorts as well and non-cargo shorts they have that crazy material that looks almost water proof - they are amazing.

Because some 20 yr old count in a southern college bar like Bogies made fun of a frat boy for wearing them.

Pretty sure cargo shorts are back in style. I can’t even find non-cargo shorts most places.
That said, they rule and you can pack so many beers in your pockets for tailgating.

There is nothing "practical", nor "comfortable", about carrying around so much shite that you need two extra pockets to handle it all. This is especially true in summertime.

But they are more practical and comfortable than a pair of tight kakhi shorts, gym shorts, jeans or sweatpants when you’re cutting grass or working around the house.
