And what does that money do for them athletically on the national scale? Win wrestling championships I guess.

the expectation is this move could put Big Ten schools north of $100 million per year.

How are they getting that for second rate football?

Well each school has been bringing in around $55 million the past few years with the current media deal. They could essentially double that with the the new deal.

It was being rumored that the new media deal, which was around $1 billion annually, would be formally announced at the end of May.

It’s pretty clear why that hasn’t been announced yet. The Big Ten is going to be making it rain.

Why they're trying to make it like the boring NFL, I don't know. Well, I do. It's all about the money.

My point is that all that $$ brought in by big 10 schools hasn’t amounted to much on the national scale. Not a great ROI in my view so far.

Joe Burrow transferring from the Big 10 and going to LSU was the final nail in the Big 10’s coffin.

Los Angeles. They should have grabbed a Stanford or Cal team.

No one cares about them even during the rare times they are good.

USC is hugely popular as long as they don't have guys like Helton coaching them.

Unless the Big10 adds LSU, Florida, Georgia, or Evil Alabama, they will still gain zero national titles

Dude take a fricking lap.

Nobody needs Clay Travis to like them.

We’d just like for you to realize the left is boning you and the “unfortunate” held down lazy fricks that you care about.

It’s becoming two big super conferences. How do people not see that

It became inevitable after Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC. Within 10 years every big name brand will either be Big 10 or SEC.

Pac12 is on life support, but still has Oregon. Once Oregon leaves the Pac 12 dies.

Once Clemson leaves the ACC the dominos will fall quickly and you’ll get your “super conferences” with 32 teams each.

Notre Dame will hold out as long as they can because they always do

Lol. “All that $$” is the very definition of high ROI.
