At least retain some semblance of a geographical alliance.. doesn’t surprise me that the commissioner would go out west after he shite his pants when dealing with COVID. CFB is becoming more embarrassing by the day

That chump is legally required to call Clay Travis "Daddy" when he's within SEC states.

Clay Travis saved football in 2020 - never forget

Big Ten is just replying to the SEC adding Oklahoma and Texas.

And they will make way more money.

Yeah I don’t know if he saved it but, he certainly gave a voice to the sane people saying COVID was no reason to cancel the season

Why don't they add Tulane, then they can have at least one former member of the ACC, Big East, Big 12, Pac 10, and SEC.

Los Angeles. They should have grabbed a Stanford or Cal team.

I like this. We are getting closer to Super Conferences now. At least the leftovers of the Pac 12 can join with the Big 12 and form a western Super Conference.

I wouldn't be surprised if Stanford and Cal follow suit.

There have been numerous reports that the upcoming Big Ten media rights deal will top $1 billion annually. That would be a record.

No idea if those talks involve the USC/UCLA. If not, they are going to get even more.

Can't say I'm surprised. College football is big business. Conference consolidation is just following the oligopolistic path of most major industries. No different than the 3 or 4 companies that control 80% of what you see in a grocery store.

Kind of sad - I think it will cause college football to lose some of its unique characteristics (regional rivalry for example).

They bring nothing to the table. UCLA, USC, Washington, & Oregon are the 4 they want and only the 4 they want.

B1G contract dwarfs the PAC-10 contract.

How can it be a super conference if it’s …

Not?

Stanford is the university that created the wedge with UCLA/USC/Oregon/Washington in the PAC with the COVID cancellation crap. There is no love there.
